Hi all! My pool is getting hard DDOS ATTACKS all day, (also findblocks.com is getting attacked) and I made a alternative pool at different server. So stratum server for mining has changed: stratum+tcp://miningpool.thruhere.net:7500 -u YOURWALLETHERE -p before was theminingpool.thruhere.net and now is miningpool.thruhere.net (without "the") Also changed the blockexplorer: miningpool.thruhere.net:9010All seems working fine again  Regards, TheMiningPool. For your Block Explorer change settings in settings.json "confirmations": 2000, "difficulty": "POW", "supply": "TXOUTSET", that will fix some of the bugs. Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Hi there,
I'm new with cryptocurrency mining, but I'm following the news about that and the impact of bitcoin and altercoins on real economy.
I liked the propose of Virtual Coin and want to give it a try.
I got to sync my wallet and get start with the mining software (I choose the GUIMiner for the frendly interface). I set the config for the minningpool and the minner shows that is working in one share and the hash rate, but when I visit the minningpool website and look at the minners, I can't find mine there.
thats the config:
HOST - miningpool.thruhere.net
PORT - 7500
user - (my wallet adress)
is there something wrong or I forgot to config something else?

Difficulty is going up everyday.
Still GPU mined coin.
CPU mining must use pool to get coins.

Very stable wallet. So far takes few secs to sync.
I run my wallet 24x7, suggest if you mine it even using pool to at least run the wallet in background.

The new block explorer seems to be off. Check and make it up again. Block explorer is up and working smoothly on my side so have to refresh the page to check the status and it is still syncing to the network to the current block. Supply is got fixed now so good work by dev. |

The new block explorer seems to be off. Check and make it up again. Try visting both above links again, currently syncing on block 7865. POS bug caused in the Block explorer hosted by miningpool is now resolved. 500 VC was actually tx from one address to another, not POS mined as reported earlier by old block explorer. |
