 Internet of Coins launches fundraiser at Coinstorm.net, March 21st, 2017!
Leave us an e-mail address via our website, and we'll keep you updated on our launch.  Over the past few years, we as the Internet of Coins development team have funded this project ourselves and via research grants.
With a working alpha of the wallet being tested, a solid processing engine and modules forming a transactional operating system,
we are confident we can fully deliver on our promises, as stated in our whitepaper.
We're announcing this fundraiser in order to scale up and open development, share code and enable the cryptocurrency community
to boost their own projects by hooking them into the platform. Cryptocurrencies and wallets will require no changes to do this. Starts: March 21st, 10:00 UTC

Because we are a not-for-profit open-source project,
listed under a Dutch legally recognized Public Benefit Organisation (´ANBI´).
Will there be tokens available?
Yes. There are 7,000,000 Hybrid tokens, distributed among 7 different chains.
On release, we will be supporting assets on Bitcoin, Ethereum, NXT, CounterParty, Waves, NEM and Bitshares.
These tokens represent the first hybrid asset and are the first to be made interchangable.
How will you release the tokens?
We will release the tokens on multiple blockchains. The IoC tokens will be connected in an inter-blockchain construct
called a hybrid asset, so you can pick any of these blockchains of your choosing.

Who is your escrow?
The internationally recognized NLnet Foundation.
They have been supporting open-source projects for almost 20 years, including the Tor project and the NoScript plugin.

@PolyPanto: Thanks! Will look at in transit to London Expo. Have patience, we're very busy on it. @rindo: STORMWIND was our test asset. It was also a hybrid, however, was managed centralized and via exchange API's. We found that suboptimal, and since then have been working on Internet of Coins to decentralize the concept of STORMWIND. So for now, the previous test asset is no more, but its idea is alive. @2012: Thankyou for reading. Any comments, ideas and criticism welcome. We want to improve the theory, and we'll be putting the LaTeX source of the document up on Github soon. |

We aim to allocate a large share of the fundraiser to external teams for open source contributions (will provide an update on this later). We will most likely not need everything raised to continue our work on the project. |
