anyway, if this is smart contract with same algo with ethereum, what the special of this coin ?

A number of technical changes are mentioned in top post, all of which Ubiq is the first to implement in an eth based codebase. There are also other changes we didnt feel were big enough to make the ANN, such as changes to uncle rewards. Read about this here

Something I hear very common when talking to various companies about blockchain technology is 'We are very interested in ethereum, but there is too much uncertainty to risk basing our day to day operations on its blockchain'. This is understandable given its been a pretty rough ride, bugs are to be expected when innovating at the pace the eth team have been. This is where Ubiq comes in, our goal is to provide a stable platform that offers the same functionality as ethereum that companies can rely on. This will be achieved by taking a very cautious approach to adding any new code. The changes we have made, have been thoroughly tested over the last 6 months in a series of public test builds, all of which are focused on scaling and stability.

We also have a great team behind the platform, as well as some strategic partners.

Right now the focus is the launch, however we have a lot in the works. Expect more announcements post launch as things come to fruition.

If your coins are on cryptopia you will need to move them to bittrex, or withdraw to a desktop wallet before ubiq launches. If in a desktop wallet, you can submit the claim form before or after the launch, when swapped balances are calculated from the same block either way. All claims submitted before launch, will become part of the genesis block.

what would be order of time in which network would (expected to) stabilize and trading begins, would it be hours, days ?

If your coins are in a desktop wallet that is fine, the procedure for claiming an address can be found in the pre ANN here

claimed addresses verified before the swap, will be added to the genesis block, you will have your UBQ as soon as mining begins.

unclaimed coins will be kept in a multisig wallet held by the team, addresses claimed after the swap, will still receive their coins long into the future.

Our primary focus in the days after launch, is the network, not the market. It will reopen once the network is proven to be stable. We expect this period to be a number of days but less than a week.

Correct. It will no longer be supported by the developers.

On the 28th, before the genesis block for Ubiq is created, we will take a snapshot of the JBS blockchain at a certain block. Recording every balance of every address. Addresses that have been claimed, will receive their coins on launch. For addresses with balances greater than 0, that have not been claimed, we cant give to the owners as we dont know which UBQ address to send them to, so their coins will be put into a multisig wallet, and kept safe. If these addresses are claimed after the swap, they will receive their coins. We do not have a time restriction on this. People that miss the swap will not lose their coins as long as they can sign a message using the current JBS wallet, proving they own the address submitted.
