So far I haven't found anything. Scoured the OP, block explorers, network stats, and github for this info. Problem seems to be getting worse as now I'm getting 2 and 3 blocks at a time more frequently than before, and occasionally 4 blocks before any get imported now. Seems if I do manage to mine any it will just be an orphan.

have you tried the UBQ slack? we have a channel just for miners and i think most people interact wit the community in the slack...I think youll get some quicker feedback and help if you join..

http://slack.ubiqsmart.com/

good luck

Ehh I don't have slack currently but it looks like I might have to get it. It's the only way to get info for certain other coins too apparently. Was hoping it was just publicly available already.

Coincidentally though I just mined 2 blocks and neither of them were orphans so that's good...but I may have just gotten lucky and still have a higher orphan rate than I should over the longer term. As you can see the time between block imports is pretty inconsistent with several minutes in between sometimes and then getting 2 or 3 at once.

If you are solo mining make sure you have enough nodes connected for proper propagation.

Uhh that's the reason I was asking.

Where can I find a list of nodes and their addresses? I am trying to solo mine but many of the blocks come in 2 or 3 at a time so I think I need more peers so blocks get propogated faster.

From twitter i see that it will be like VC fund on UBQ. But without any details. Hope that soon we will all know this big news.

Price right now is too low for such great project with skilled devs.

Been busy recently, didn't catch up with what's happening here. So my balance of Jumbucks on Bittrex will be automatically swapped to Ubiq, right?

Correct.  All JBS balances that were on bittrex will be converted to UBQ

Thanks! Really excited about this!

i am also new here and i also become excited now for learning more and more for this.

Hi Ubiq friends

Im developing a new project where I will be using the Ubiq platform and was wondering if anyone could help me in writing a smart contract, please PM to discuss in more detail

Excellent! I would recommend joining our slack: http://slack.ubiqsmart.com/

That's the best way to get in touch with the people you'll want to discuss this with.

The website https://ubiqsmart.com/ says that Ubiq is 'Built upon an improved Ethereum codebase'

Is there more info someone could point me to in relation to this?

Why would someone use Ubiq instead of Ethereum?

thanks  Smiley

Currently trying to mine on
http://ubiqminers.org/#

I'm using claymores miner v9
But for whatever reason I keep getting this error and the miner is not running stable at all.
This is on my test rig. I normally set up a bat file on this when everything is stable I roll it out.

My Bat file is as follows
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool pool.ubiqminers.org:8008 -ewal 0xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxa7 -eworker rig-5 -epsw x -etha 0 -r 1 -ttli 69 -tstop 72 -ethi 16 -mode 1 -allcoins 1 -esm 0 -allpools 1 -asm 1 -dcri 6

i wish i was as good as a miner as i am at investing. i make very good money in cryptoland
but am dumb as rocks when it comes to mining. i buy already built miners, lol
...and they are already programmed to mine what i want.

i have ethos on one of my miners mining eth and i want to mine ubiq.

if anyone can put together a program like ethos for ubiq, im buying.

I'm pretty sure you can use ethos to mine ubiq.  Just change your pools to Ubiq pools.  Not sure about solo mining but it shouldn't be very complicated.
I initially used the ethminer that comes as part of the nicehash miner, just pointed the miner to a ubiq pool.

Do you have any customers, currently? This is a neat concept, glad you chose UBQ as the platform for your token Smiley

Do you have any customers, currently? This is a neat concept, glad you chose UBQ as the platform for your token Smiley
Yes we have a few banner ad customers now delivering impressions and today we recv'd (2) Pre and Post Roll video ad customers. (indeed.com and beyond.com). Better still the fact our video library is set to explode with the addition on Maker.tv content creators; since media content is the life blood of this industry (just need those agreements returned in digital format).  Digital advertising revenues exceeded $70 billion in the United States alone in 2016 and expected to increase by 20% in 2017 our goal is to account for .00875% market cap which would be $612,500,000. With 150 billion tokens at $5 per token price $750,000,000 total possible market cap for NIT and putting 82% our coins into circulation. We really see this as an opportunity to grow and feel very confident in using the UBQ blockchain.

Adjustments to Difficulty calculation - Hard fork required

We have been monitoring the Ubiq network since launch and have found that the default Digibyte Digishield settings are overly sensitive to the Dagger Hashimoto algorithm so block times are not as consistent as we would like them long term.  This issue did not show up in our earlier Testnet testing as this issue does not show up for smaller hash rates.

Since we are a new network, we felt it was right to make the necessary changes to address this issue early on.  The network is working fine but we can do better.

We will be putting out a new release in a few hours which implements the changes.  The technical details are that we will increase the number of past blocks that we will sample for calculations (up from 30 minutes) and we will decrease the % adjustment.

This will be a hard fork change but there will be adequate time to upgrade (around 24 hours) from when the wallets are released.

We have been testing this for a few days in our local Testnet and the results look good.  We do not anticipate any issues and we are in close conversation with our pool operators.

If you are a pool operation not in our Ubiq Slack, please join at http://slack.ubiqsmart.com

Thank you for your support and understanding.

Update to Bittrex listing

Bittrex are finalizing their integration work for Ubiq.  They will be ready to list Ubiq after the hard fork has switched over. We will announce a day before when the Bittrex market will open.  Thank you for your patience.

Fantastic work, I'm happy we can make this change in the early stage to benefit future customers with even more stability

Nice move from the team! Waiting for the new release.

not only wait but great enthusiasm and with steady mind someone can win a race.
