How to spot a gambler addicted?

I think that usually a guy which play games for a long time, risk to became a gambler addicted. Which method you use for stop plaiyng when you understand that you are near to became addicted?

For example, i don't play a lot or for long time (i play games spot during my free time), so i have no idea about, but i trade forex all day and when i had a significant  loss i usually turn off my Pc and i go out for a drink , just for not run behind loss.

at first, I got confused after I read your post mate and I just wonder what are you really referring to is it how to spot or how to stop ? but then I clearly understand that according to your statement it is all about to how to stop a gambling addiction if I'm not mistaken . well, It's really hard for someone to notice themselves and realized that they already addicted but I see yourself getting very frustrated after every game and desiring to go back and play again once you have enough money to gamble once again then that will be the time that you need to take a break or totally stay away from gambling, in order to do that you just need to change your mindset, diversifying your hobbies or keep your focus on one thing away from your gambling habit would be a great help . also you really need a deep self discipline .

There is actually no ways to understand that you are about to become an addict and stop playing, because you will not realize it at all. You will just come and play and if you lose you go away and you come back again if you get money and that means you are addicted, but still you yourself wont realize it at all. That is the reason why people can't stop themselves because they just do it and don't think about anything.

I don't see any wrong with the things you did, its escaping what you called on your deeds actually. For us to determine if he/she play a long hours in the gambling sites.

No matter how someone plays to me, he/she is not addicted so far he is winning and losing moderately and on the advantageous side he is now winning more then he is not addicted but for someone or the moment when we can now take an estimate of returns from gambling and found out that its turning into deficit and recovering is not imminent, then that is being addicted and it will now be advised that effort should be made in reducing or stopping.

Don't confuse habit with addiction.
A person can play weekly for 10 years, spends a day every week playing cards, which makes him a habitual gambler. This can be his hobby and it doesn't mean he's addicted. So, as you can see doing something for a long time doesn't lead to addiction.
 
Usually there are two factors that show you're addicted. There are more but these 2 are the easiest to spot and also the most descriptive.
1. You keep thinking about doing it every day. Even if you're with your family or at work you are looking for an excuse to place some bets or check on how you're doing.
2. You play until you win big or lose everything. Small wins don't satisfy you. If you lose you start thinking how to get money to bet again and get it all back.

yes indeed difficult if we only look at their physical shape. Or arguably also will not be able to. Addiction to gambling can be seen very clearly if we already know someone very well, knew him very long, we could see a change in the attitudes and habits of everyday. Because we know his habits before addiction and its changes after addiction.

You're right ,most of the gambler addicted is the peope who plays for a long time they can't resist not to play gambling in a while a days or a week .Its not hard to spot a gambling addicted and what is hard is to get them out of being addicted. When i think i am in control by gambling i stop playing for a weeks until i get over my losses.

Not all gamblers are having the same thinking and thoughts. Because there are some gamblers they gamble for pass time only, or for fun. And others they do gamble because they have a personal problems, so I don't playing gamble for a long time is not a sign of gambling addiction. Thanks and God bless

You are right, some rich people will do full day gambling, there intention is not to make money they will just play for fun and time pass. and I also play just for my entertainment not to make money. But sometimes in holidays, i will spend more time in gambling, But I am not addicted gambler. I have control on my play. So we can not consider that those who play more time gambling they are addicted gambler.

Well if you look at a person from the outside, you wouldn't know if that person is an addicted gambler or not. For newbies i think it would be easier to spot as you'll see it in their faces or they themselves will tell you that they're gambling. But for addicted gamblers, you'd have to know them personally. Some addicted gamblers have their personal lives affected by this already and it would be easy to hear from their friends that they're gamblig too much. Some addicted gamblers would even ask you to lend them money and give you different reasons.

Not only for loses because not stopping despite of winning is also a big sign of being addicted in gambling. That is why it's not good to be addicted as when you do not know how to stop even if you are winning, you are still not gonna end up winning. It's a disease that will consume our money, so we better learn to fight addiction by instilling discipline when gambling.

Yes, to identify the addict gambler indeed be seen from their habit of playing, a man addicted will always play a full day or even everyday in a very long duration. They also tend to spend their money just to gamble. If I were asked whether having a method to stop playing when close to addiction, yes I have. Usually to avoid addiction by limiting the amount of my bet, in a month I just deposited some bitcoin to gamble. By depositing some of the bitcoin it would limit us to not play continuously so it does not become addicted.

I think if the behavior of the person is changing little by little its one of the sign, then if He/she always in the gambling place the whole days too are also one of the spot reason, And he don't care how much he/she lost in the gambling games just important for her is to win.

That is right it is hard to spot a gambler as I know about a person. From his look he is a healthy and wealthy person and is a well dressed but he is much addicted to gambling and he list all of his money because of his addiction.

beside that that person still using the money which he borrowed from other people if he is out for the money and continue to playing gambling for everyday. its not hard to find or to spot a gambler addicted if we are in offline life because we can see that the same person that will only playing gambling in every time we visit on that place. but its really hard to find someone that have been a gambler addicted in online sites because we are not meet each other.
