How to spot a gambler addicted?

Apart from his time and money almost being spent at the casino at all times,

 Gamblers are always talking about hitting it very big very soon, they have the optimism that their time is coming very soon and you may notice that they like to borrow money from their friends and family just to gamble. They waste their monies and other people's money to gamble.

Exactly, they have an insatiable appetite to gamble even if they are losing and that's the first character trait I find about these addicted gamblers. Secondly they are constantly borrowing one way or the other from friends and family around them.

There are no problem on that, you playing long time but not everyday until you know your limitation and you know how to control yourself do not worry.
Controlling yourself are a good sign that you don't want to be an addicted on gambling.

I agree with you on that , self control could go a long way to help you to not get addicted no matter how frequent you gamble. It's a self intuition of discipline and that gets you going.

It's much easier to spot a gambler that is addicted in real casinos because you would often see them there all the time probably. In chat or in online casinos it's very hard to spot the ones who are struggling with addiction because you can't see them it's best to assume that one could have reasons for doing something don't judge easily.

Yeah! I completely agree with you on this stance. Once you are into the world of gambling and luckily have won for more than one time, this would cause you to become addicted to it without getting noticed by your conscience. Gambling could only be given up if someone has a hard nature and could completely handle his emotions .i don’t think that discipline would help you to be on the safer side of the play always because if you are aiming more and more money, then definitely it is nothing less than an addiction.

If is a friend, then definitely its easy to say that he is addicted if he just talked about gambling all day. He will talked about his exploits and winning. But seldom do you see a gambling addict telling all about his losses last night. Its all winnings for them but you would tell that he is in the negative side the way he dresses or looks.

As for those who are not close to you, its really hard to spot them. Unless you see them asking money from you. LOL. Think of a total stranger begging for money because he/she wants to play. That's addicted to me.

That's mild addiction and it could be cured easily if one of family members would give them proper advice and gives him a good picture out on what would be his outcome in future if he keeps play that addictive games on the long run. But the most worst addiction I've see is when those people starting to sell their things just to have some money to bet on their games and this one needs a psychologist help to be cured.

In my whole life, I have never encountered gamblers (except this forum) but I know a little bit about addicts. We respond to the released hormones, either control the reaction or stop the action beforehand.

The best way is to talk to anyone who is near you and understands you. Who will not criticize your actions rather stand with you in the darkness and push you out of there. Believe me! Psychologists or psychiatrists are not much of a help.

It does not matter about how much amount you invested in the gambling, it's about the how many times to get into the bitcoin gambling or fiat gambling site. If it is a small or big however loose is the loose you see in gambling site. Please stay away to safe your hard earned money.

yes it could be a reference , and clearly those people who gamble continuously are the one who have got addicted already because can not stop it . when gambling has become a habit slowly it is the start of an addiction , don't push yourself and be wise person.

You can't keep playing for the rest of your life and so you need to find the right balance and quit. Occupy yourself with something else more demanding and worth your time. I don't have a problem if you gamble but you must have control.

For example, i don't play a lot or for long time (i play games spot during my free time), so i have no idea about, but i trade forex all day and when i had a significant  loss i usually turn off my Pc and i go out for a drink , just for not run behind loss.

A problematic gambler is when his playing affects his normal everyday life. If his playing affects his social, mental and emotional capabilities then you know that, that gambler is an addict and may need special attemtion. The problem is how to stop them as on this cases these gamblers are very volatile.
