A mining farm really require a lot of patience and work , I wouldn't suggest it unless you are passionate about mining and you are not seeking for profit only. With such a large amount , I would do some trading or simply buy and hodl bitcoin for long term. You can also invest in some ICO to x2/x3 your bitcoins but make sure you do your homework before that.
If you are still young and you did not depend on that money for a living, you can invest your money like buying bitcoins and holding them. You need time to wait until its value increases and sell. If you wanted to double or triple your money you really need patience. |

For such high amounts I would find a really reliable company that exchanges Bitcoin to FIAT currencies or a trusted seller in LocalBitcoins and to arrange something with bank.
I think you can invest your money on bitcoin because the price of bitcoin right now was dump to $9500 and after investing on bitcoin you just need to hold it until the value of it is we will pump and you can also invest your money on some altcoin just like investing on ethereum and litecoin. |

I can only sugget to reserve the 50% of that money to your family and 50% for your business venture. Mining is good but it needs cheaper electricy to be in an advantage. Trading, try to learn it, you have plenty of time to learn, besides you have the luxury of not working because you already have sufficient supply in hand. Just do not rush things. you can use some fund to test things out, we can say try to allocate 5% of your venture fund to test things out. If they are good then go for it. The secret here is patience and learning.
Risk but true, if you have some savings there and wants to raise some investment just go for 50% invest in bitcoin or trading or any site that trusted. One thing to remember is just to read and read the so that you will learn. Just for legend says you won't know if you won't try and tried to lose that makes you down. |

If you have that huge amount of investment, then you should put that in bitcoin. Bitcoin is secure investment but risky. You should consider when is the right time to invest. Or else other option is be a partners of opening ICOs.
