That's the bad side of cryptocurrency. It's decentralized and is free from the central controlling system which is cool but scammers are taking advantage of this unreversable - anonymity and victimizing those poor people with lack of knowledge. But then again it will return to centralization if we want to do something with it.

If this is not sarcasm, then I though you are old enough to know this better. Internet scams are nothing new, and certainly didn't start with the introduction of cryptocurrency.
There were purchase frauds of all kind, we had counterfeited postal money orders used to commit online fraud, online auction scams, PayPal frauds, call tag scams and MANY, MANY more scams.

I agree with every point you made except that your take that money is the root of all evil doesn't quite agree with the message of your post! Money of any kind is good, money is a servant and goes wherever it is sent. Any evil that gets in between, if you check again, emanates from humans. Lack of regulation. Also because it is a small market under the radar of govts, which makes it an ideal ground for criminals to work. They avoid the more eyecatching asset markets because they don't want to draw attention to themselves. I think it goes deeper, beyond our wildest imaginations. There are probably organized scam groups distributed all around the communities using tens of accounts and shills.

I find it hard to take you serious sometimes and this is defiantly one of those times, all communities are filled with people and once you add a financial incentive people show their true colours, it has nothing to do with bitcoin per se.  And no it will never change, self interest and greed is what makes bitcoin work........
