I use an android phone and I have downloaded from Google play store the bitcoin app but I am not sure if it's real. Could this address from the app be real? I am a novice on this. This is the address from the device..

Yes bitcoin address is something like that but we need to be specific. What specific bitcoin application wallet you have downloaded in the playstore? Im asking this so that the community can help you how to find your designated bitcoin address in that application. Well you can do that too but it seems you are in trouble. |

You mean thew bitcoin wallet that has that orange logo right? If you click the qr code, there you will see a bitcoin address. Yes. That is your real btc address which you can use to receive money to your btc wallet. |

You need to specify the name of the APP, if possible screenshot, help the users reading your post understand what you are trying to achieve here. You posted that addy and yes that is a btc address but if you are asking whether its yours, we have no idea. It could be someone else.
Why do you say its yours does the app says so?
Does it have private and public key with you?

Why I got confused on the whole thing was that after downloading the bitcoin app I wasn't asked to tender my information for registration to acquire a wallet

Bitcoin needs none of your information, but you also cant go to someone if you lose access to your wallet. Make sure you have a backup and its well secured. If it looks like this, it should be the correct one by Andreas Schildbach. -> https://i.imgur.com/odLwtjD.png |

I myself use the application from coinomi, they give your signature feature. as well as assigning an address to us and not changing at any time. Looks like you should try it too, as it's very easy to use
