I think its not a good idea, actually Trump being the president is not a good idea. Were talking about immigrants not refugees. He might also want to do a reality check. People around him are immigrants, that includes his wife. So if he's scared of terrorists, he needs a tighter security at his airports not ban people from coming in to the country who are already citizens of the US.

You need to differentiate illegal immigrants from legal immigrants. Donald Trump's wife legally immigrated to the United States more than two decades back. She paid her taxes, and waited patiently in the line to get her citizenship.

She had the opportunity to become a legal American citizen. Why so many illegal immigrants? Because they have no opportunity to obtain the status of a citizen legally. That's the problem.

A person does not have a RIGHT to immigrate where ever they want to.  That they will do so regardless of the law is the problem.

People always want to live in a good state. Migrants are not a problem if the state could direct the migration flows in the right direction. In any country needs workers. If they are to assimilate into society the state will benefit from this.

Perfectly. Immigration have been prohibited many times in the past in the United States, and this is why it always worked. You can not just import hundred of thousands of people that have half the IQ of a 12 years old child and hope that all goes well. This is for American people security.

Agreed, and we're not talking about immigrants. We're talking about refugees. People seeing asylum from an unsafe living environment.

It's not about what THEY want.  It's about what I want, or those that own individually or jointly the land that the migrants want to travel, live and work on.  We say what they can and cannot do.  They don't tell us.   You or others don't tell us, either.  We say what we want.

It's horrible how you can even think to compare Donald J Trump and Adolf Hitler, I don't even know how people can even come close to seeing the supposed / alleged similarities between the two. You're going to say that they ran on the same campaign promises and such? Well putting that into perspective doesn't every politician have similarities to Hitler and Trump when they make promises saying they're going to help the country and pretty much "make it great"

Politicians refer to past times which were greater and look to go forward and better than ever before over that, just like Trump refers to making America Great Again. All he did was put a slogan on it, nothing more nothing less.

You are correct that there are distinctions but Trumps declaration will mean that there will be no migration to US coming from foreign countries especially arab countries. I am not against this kind of thinking nor against hi agenda. His plans has just started and I will only react if his policies resulted to negative impacts on the United States of America. It is only when we can say that Trump is not a good president if after his term his agenda doesnt made Americas situation much better.

It is just a myth propagated by the liberals that any country is going to benefit out of illegal immigrants. How can a country benefit from these people, when they are exploiting the welfare payments, without paying the taxes?

Also, the entire population of the developed world is around 1 billion. The population of the developing nations is more than 6 billion. It is not practical to bring all these 6 billion to the developed nations.

And who told you that we are talking about all 6 billion? Please enter the requirement for migrants to abandon Islam, to work and to social benefits, not to obtain citizenship, and careful monitoring of their movements.
