Look for stores that accept Bitcoin payments. If you are interested in tech stuff, there should be many options for you that you can find. I am looking forward to some new shops around me that accept BTC too. It is a possibility. There is also the possibility of buying games with it, since last year the Steam Gaming Platform has been allowing users to buy games using Bitcoin. I think it's also worth checking if there are websites offering discounts to people using it.

Why dont you just keep your bitcoins and even try to earn some more, rhe price of btc will just rise a few fold in 2-3 years.
As he said in the first post - he wants to buy a gaming pc and he has some btc amount which he wants to spend right now.. waiting 2-3 years isn't the best solution of his problem.

From what I read, you are a very young boy with enough talent to gain a good amount of bitcoin in a very short time, which many older people have not been able to do. So I would invite you to delve deeper into this interesting ecosystem to learn how to manage your economy and projects solely and exclusively based on bitcoins. That is perfectly possible these days, therefore I do not see the need for you to exchange your bitcoins for fiat money.

You can buy something that people here wants and available to buy with bitcoins, and then offer it here in the auctions forum for USD. That way you'll convert your bitcoins to dollars. Or maybe you can do a revert auction: declare what you want to buy and ask for price suggestions.

You can always sell your bitcoin to any reputed seller here on forum also and you don't need to produce your identification documents but you would need bank account or any other way to get paid. You can also ask the buyer to buy anything for you that you want to buy but couldn't because you cant buy it with bitcoin. Do not forget to use escrow for any deal here.

My friend introduced me to btc and I got a little bit of it to bet on some csgo matches. It was fun, but now I want to build my first gaming pc so I was looking for ways to sell my bitcoin.
However, sadly most sites required me to be either above 18 or wanted official government identification which I don't have.
So I was wondering, if you can buy something like amazon gift codes with bitcoin? I have enough for a nice quality power supply and it would be fun to spend it on amazon.
I see two optional ways to spend your bitcoins, one of them is to get a virtual bitcoin debit card (which can be obtained for free) and load it with bitcoin and exchange them to fiat where you can use this to purchase online and buy your gaming PC stuff, the second way is to create a thread here and ask if anyone is selling that stuff for bitcoin.

when posts are telling the guy he can hand it to users in this forum..
.. it should dawn on people..
.. either most people dont know of many real merchants that accept bitcoin, or they themselves have not thought about bitcoin beyond this forum. which goes to show bitcoin is not ready to go mainstream
bitcoin really needs to be at a point where people dont need to ask "where can i spend it" or have issues with conversion

Do you have a bank account? if you do then local bitcoins might be the best way, or even better find someone you know and see if they want to buy it.

Honestly speaking, selling or buying bitcoin here is the last place i would think about. There are lot of other ways to sell it. Depending on how you want your money: bank transfer, debt card, Paypal, Gift cards, there are a lot of choices Nowaday you just need a few clicks to get the money in your bank account in 24-48 h... Why waste time deal with unknow people, check his profile, escrow, bla bla bla... It's not difficult as well to use with any merchant, just get a bitcoin debt card and use it, rare are the shop not accepting Visa/Mastercard

Indeed. But this guy sounds like a complete newbie to bitcoin and he only has it incidentally. I'd suggest trying to exchange it on this forum with a trusted member who does PayPal and those sort of exchanges. There's always a risk of chargeback, but it can be done. But you can buy gaming equipment somehow with bitcoin, can't you? Even from Korea??

(not good). everyone should be pushing to get bitcoin more open and more diverse

You can actually buy services and goods with your Bitcoin, and you can get up to a 30% price decrease if you use services like Purse to purchase goods on Amazon. There are actually many things that can be bought with BTC these days.
On another note, to increase the amount of Bitcoin you have access to, you can trade things or services for Bitcoin. That's how I made my first stash. I have a background in Mac and Web development and developed Mac wallet versions that are compatible with older and newer Mac OS X systems for various altcoins.

And as franky1 said, generaly changing bitcoin to fiat isn't any solution at all. @ to the OP If you want to buy some electronics online, you can try those sites: http://koreanbuddy.com/category/gmarket-korea/https://www.newegg.com/Both of them should send to Korea.

I think there is no problem, you can transfer your bitcoin to anyone you trust that have a credit card which he can withdraw your money with ATM and sends you money. By the way, you can find some service here in this section of BT forums: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0 Which you can find some offers of amazon gift codes with bitcoin. or simply you can create a topic. Good luck.

Where are your from Op? We can't give you any real advice if we have no idea where are you from, there are big internet shops located in the US like Overstock, Newegg, Dell and in the UK: Aria. You can use plenty of 'less' official sites to buy stuff from - Shopawl.com - they can get you anything from banggood or aliexpress. You can get Amazon gift cards from gyft.com... and so on... With Bitcons you will be able to build any PC you would like without even need of exchanging BTC to 'money'. Just google for bitcoin accepting shops in your region.
