Its not impossible for countries to create their own alts and I am sure research would have been going in other to make that a reality because that is the only viable means to stop the spread the popularity of bitcoin no matter how they try, the world is changing towards crypto currency and any government that does not want to be seen archaic needs to move in that direction and makes such facilities available for its citizens.

Even though there are many theories claiming XYZ person or organisation or government is behind the bitcoin I think no one is in a position to prove it yet. Bitcoin has grown from a $0 to $1,000 in just 7 years (twice) so people around the world have staked their money in it. It is possible that any country might reveal the intention after 10 or so years. No one knows the future.

And even if it is a government, even evil government, it's all open source, and decentralised, so no-one can still your bitcoins.
To do this they need to create consensus on the blockchain, and as long as a lot of people using it they won't succeed in that.

What's commom cause between xyz domain name creator and bitcoin? I believe satoshi wasn't from russia and who knows if that person isn't piece of tale. Also another factor is that russia likes manipulating but in another side, once they weren't accepting bitcoin and also they aren't known in bitcoin mining.
Also one thing is wrong here, bitcoin reached 1000$ usd not in 7 but in 2-3 year.

Can Russia or China done such a thing to erase the dominance of the dollar over the world?

Generally, there are always governments behind such technologies. For example, StuxNet

Wow! it could happened :O i mean both are powerful countries and bitcoin is popular now its a easy money and you can even use bitcoin to pay your tax maybe that would happened my friend that erase the dollar and the bitcoin will reign supreme in this world if that happens well we really be able to easily pay our tax and easy way to pay grosseries Cheesy but really bitcoin will be all over the world and the past bitcoin user will be rich Cheesy by the time being we must store our bitcoin Cheesy in the future it will be a higher price Cheesy

Yes both of that country(Russia and China) is a government that is powerful. Even though what country created bitcoin as long as it was created. I don't think so bitcoin would replace another currency (e.g., dollar), yes bitcoin now is more famous, easy and convenient to use especially in doing some transactions but it doesn't mean it would replace the other currency currently we're using. Well bitcoin is another way or another currency in the past, in the present and in the future.

And no woder why some of the country declaring they are the creator of bitcoin. But at least we know who is after with the fame,  money, popularity, and authority. Your the one who judge. Wink

It wont be a surprise if some of those countries does come with their own crypto currencie, in fact China has hired some people to start those project i dont know how is the progress but expect a new altcoin coming with a lot power from those countries, they should offer something for the holders of their coin, because it wouldnt make any sense you buy something that wont give you nothing and you know a country will manipulate and control it.

Actually the topic title does really misleading at all connected to the content or description on OP. Bitcoin isnt being invented by those countries and if they would create one i dont think it would be succesful like bitcoin but basing on their superiority i think its possible but in a different way.

I don't think it's possible. Just look at their positions towards bitcoin. It causes them more troubles... Why would they be undermining themselves?

Of course they can create it, but I do not think they will bother invest money in time for what is still a little toy. Saudi Arabia could plundge Bitcoin forever with just what it earns in one day !

It is not a technology created by any country to shut any dominant country ,bitcoin is created by a genius to have more control by the investors to their own assets and not the other way round and its sole purpose is to have complete authority over you wealth and that is what bitcoin is all about.

Well actually aside from possibility, it is easier for a country to create their own blockchain based currency.  The have the resources and the money.  Aside from that they also have talented people that can study how blockchain works. And they can even create an instant economy for that own altcoin.

First of all please post the appropriate title next time and second it is basically not possible for china and russia to erase dollars or bitcoins.
Reason for dollars is we all saw why us did in iraq after they decided to accept gold as a payment for purchasing oil and also killed gadafi when he decided to start a gold currency. And technically if they even don't accept dollars it won't make any sort of difference.
While in the case of bitcoin no again as they can ban mining or exchanges in their country but they can't erase bitcoins.

I think you are doing the wrong thing Pal, This misleading anyway. How come that Russia and China is the one who create bitcoin that is totally wrong. Its okay if you have any source of proof or evidence but you don't have any tools to prove it.

I think the question is quite misleading in such a way that it suggests an answer to us advertisers. Nonetheless, to answer your question, there has been no definite research as to who created Bitcoin. The identity of the persona revealed remains to be anonymous as of writing. Others are merely speculating, to say the least.

Going back to the point, I think you could say that the creation of Bitcoin is a strategy to combat the existence of other currencies, being that its core existence mainly dwelt onto the loopholes of the common banking industry worldwide. But it is still unfair to rationalize the way you constructed your question, unless proven otherwise.

yes possibilities are always there because no one know that who are the real creator of bitcoin, so the creator can be from my own country also. but i think it is not mandatory to know about the creator of bitcoin because now he has nothing to do with it. now everyone is the owner of bitcoin who are holding it.

Thats a possibility that either of this countries would like to create the semi deflationary currency. Both of those countries are possitive towards gold and negative towards the usd.

China in my opinion is highly more likely to create bitcoin. Before you say that there could be no contendor to the USA high tech supremacy, I would like to point out that the USA has the supremacy only because of the financial supremacy. The education in that country is far inferior to the postsoviet education. Thats a fact. Many experts and many books states that fact. USA universities are full of imigrants, many of them are chineese and postsoviet are very inteligent and educated people. Some of them are staying in the USA some of them are going back to their countries of origin.

In my opinion the developers of bitcoin most likely are chineese that saw the corruption and injustice of american banking system and decided to do something about it. Chineese hackers that are working for government are known to be one of the best if not best in the world.

Another trace that might lead to China is that the Chineese are using bitcoin to get gold trading with the US.

Not at all.if they had created Bitcoin, they would not be trying to ban bitcoin as they did earlier.instead, they would be promoting bitcoins to decrease dollar usage.Decentralized nature is the beauty of bitcoins and its only created by an unknown person satoshi.
