You should get your facts correct before posting this kind of thread. Bitcoin is not really banned in China. As a matter of fact, China is the biggest player of bitcoin. China can manipulate the bitcoin price. Russia just declare that bitcoin is "not illegal" recently. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country

Even if everyone banned it bitcoin would still exist, thats its power, it doesnot belong to anyone, only to the people who use it and everyday they multiply. To be honest the first time i understood BTC is for real was when central banks started to warn against it, it was like they legitimize it in my eyes.

Russian banned bitcoin in 2015, but they couldn't ban it because people use bitcoin on the internet and exchange it to the cash offline, like trade bitcoin in localbitcoin.com This way is prevent the government ban. China can't ban bitcoin either, they blocked the transaction in/out exchange's bank accounts, but they found the result was not good, people cab still exchange it.

Erroneous statement as most of the posters in here can tell. In fact, placing restrictions on bitcoin simply means that these countries are sitting up, taking notice and recognising bitcoin, which is a huge step in acceptance. Outright banning will do little to stop the use of bitcoin anyway. It simply means the country's fiat can't participate in the trading of bitcoin. Sounds like a loss to me.

How can bitcoin become global when not so few countries, including Russia and China, ban it?

Bitcoin is only banned in 2 or 3 small countries that nobody cares bout. and in the rest of the world, specially the big developed countries bitcoin is not only banned but also recognized as a legal thing.

Russia has never banned bitcoin, in fact they have the biggest conferences each year taking place in Moscow (the capital) about bitcoin.

China has never banned bitcoin. their central bank even issued an statement saying "it is legal for any person to buy, hold, trade and use bitcoin"

same goes for other countries. Japan for example, has announced bitcoin to be a legal currency.

Bitcoin cant be banned even if countries like Russia, china tries to ban. Bitcoin is over the governments and since its online presence make it impossible to ban.
The place where it is ban, people can still earn and use bitcoins online, so fully ban of bitcoin is impossible.
that's right maybe they can ban those local exchange market and avoid people there to buy bitcoin and exchange it back to their fiat but as long as they are still internet access for sure it will be hard for them to totally ban people to do some bitcoin related transaction as we knew that it is a great investment in the real world.

I don't even know which countries have banned bitcoin but since they're not in the news then they're probably small insignificant countries. I don't know about Russia but China definitely haven't banned bitcoin, that's for sure. If they did, then they wouldn't allow miners to continue operating and didn't go with exchanges that are manipulating their traffic.

They might want a bit more say when it comes to certain aspects of bitcoin (no state would want people to launder money and evade taxes) but certainly there is no benefit for them to outright ban it.

Bitcoin becomes globally known because of it's constant increase in value! I oly know that Russia banned bitcoin but I don't know if China does the same. Btut even if they banned bitcoin, they cannot prevent their citizen to use it because that is one of the specialty of bitcoin. You can use it even without identification!

and it seems bitcoin has become a mainstream currency in china as there are many services inside the country which appeared to be accepting bitcoin as an alternative for cash and there are so many Chinese bitcoin traders so we can say that china has never banned bitcoin and they are not going to ban it I guess . Chinese whales are looking for new opportunity and ways to make more money and it seems they found it on bitcoin .

It is not banned in Russia and China and the support of bitcoin is more higher in China so it s not sensible to think that it will be banned in China any time. only a few countries have banned it and these countries are not much bigger in their technology and education wise so they often think that with bitcoin there will be crime in their countries by those who are criminals but the developed countries know that crimes are not due to bitcoin.

First of all Bitcoin is not banned in those countries but even if it was so , it really cannot be banned.

Because.
1. You can use Tails Linux with Electrum wallet already preinstalled in it via the TOR network.
2. You can use a VPN  together with the above tools and no one will know that it was really "you" that used bitcoin.

Bitcoin cannot be stopped no matter what governments will try to do to stop it.

Can you post some links pertaining to your post that indicates the actual declaration of Russia and China to ban bitcoin. As far as my knowledge is concerned Russia did not ban bitcoin, at this moment they are just observing the movement of bitcoin and they will only act if bitcoin will be used in illicit activities. China on the other hand did not ban bitcoin rather they have declared that owning of bitcoins was a right of every Chinese in their country.

If ever a bitcoin is banned on any country, there are still a way to transact it and underground bitcoin economy is thriving. The government banned it for they can not control it and impose taxes but people are finding a way to to trade and transact with it.Even in China, the biggest holder of bitcoin they say is having their own crypto exchanges Smiley

Bitcoin is a currency of people and not of government. No ban would be effective enough to prevent people from using it.
If government in my country ban bitcoin,I can keep my bitcoin in some off shore offline wallet and buy good and services online from international market.

if too many countries to ban the bitcoin course, it will damage the bitcoin system. bitcoin could have been received and are currently bitcoin have started entering a state government level. with the support of various parties, including major companies in the world then I'm sure bitcoin will be accepted slowly.

Well, it doesn't need to be global as even the big country bans it, there's still tons of country accepting it. If you compare paypal to btc, now people are prefer to use btc as we can see on most currency exchange category in the forum

People are willing to pay for btc from paypal with rate of extra 5-10% at preev

Meaning people prefer to use BTC than Paypal

I really disagree with your view. If you do a research you will find out that Russia is more friendly now with bitcoin and their users because the deputy minister of finance reversed the plan to ban the bitcoin usage https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/russia-reverses-plan-to-penalize-bitcoin-use/. Moreover as far as it regards China of course the PBOC has a lot of influence over bitcoin and want to regulate it  but on the other side the two third of the mining power are in their home.

I will say lets wait till when that eventually happens before we begin to know what to say about it because those two countries you have there have not made their position known to the best of my knowledge as regarding banning bitcoin. China has the largest mining farms for bitcoin and they largely have control over the price of bitcoin. Russia on the same has not banned bitcoin as we have had several conferences on the subject matter coming from over there.
