There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

No ban could stop people from using bitcoins..And what would be the use of this for any country? But I can understand that some countries would.like to regulate bitcoin and this doesn't necessary be bad. Maybe regulation could help to put the line between illegal and legal use of bitcoins.

Regulation makes the price higher for the customer, that means you need to pay more to use the currency, you will need to pay fees, the cost for you will be higher than now, making you lose money that could be your profit. Being illegal or not, bitcoin will be used for good and bad things, it depends who is using the crypto currency. It's not bitcoin fault.

How can bitcoin become global when not so few countries, including Russia and China, ban it?
I do not think Bitcoin will be affected by the ban of states. Bitcoin will still be used even if all the countries of the world are united and banned. Because of its bitcoin structure, it does not need any institutional support. Only by the use of people who love him, he continues to exist. Until this time Bitcoin came only with people to trust and use. Behind it succeeded without any power or authority.

as a far as i know only in bangladesh and venezuela there is a real ban and they can put you in jail for that, russia was undecided for a long time and they restricted it at soem point but right now they do not ban it
2 country will hardly make any difference especially because they are very small in terms of population
How come they are able to monitor the users transaction even if they plan to monitor things.I think it is just a scare tactics and these countries are struggling with their own economic crises which the government cannot overcome .

They have banned bitcoin and other crypto currencies in order to start and run their own digital currency. If they will not ban it then how will they run their own. They know well that if bitcoin will be there no one will adopt any other digital currency for their use.

If all nation-states of major size were to ban Bitcoin globally and enforce that ban aggressively, now that would indeed be a problem and force Bitcoin into the dark net. But this is not the case today! Most countries accept Bitcoin or even have recognized it as money or financial asset.

I don't know why anyone would bother with banning cryptos, especially in a country such as Ecuador. Then again, I guess they do have a poor country and they want to maintain as much control over their currency as possible, but at the same time it doesn't appear to be that competitive. To the national currency. Then again I could be dead wrong.

Oh look price dropped under $200 AGAIN after OP submitted the post, I assume it was the intention right? Solution to evade any restriction by governments: find a coffee net or library, launch Tor browser, create 2 wallets with brand new email accounts, send your bitcoins to one wallet, from there send them to a mixer service(obviously bitmixer.io) and give them the second wallet's addresses, after receiving the new and untraceable bitcoins in the second wallet you could find a trusted member in here and sell your coins for paypal or credit card. see you just managed to show a middle finger to their superior authority.

It is obvious that regulation will prohibit financial firms from dealing with bitcoin is simply because of the high volatile nature of the coin and they would not risk accumilating the coins ,other than that any individual can hold and trade bitcoin except for Venezula and Bangladesh ,i am not sure about it but i have read it somewhere in this forum about this.

Where did you get this news from.? I don't know how people think like this. Do you know that China holds the largest number of miners in the world.? The government may hate Bitcoin for it's features but they can't ban it. even the government of a country does not accept bitcoin, it does not mean that the citizens will stop using bitcoin. and I do not know many countries ban bitcoin, but just a few countries we can count by fingers.

China and Russia didn't ban it, so we have no worries yet. The countries that made it illegal are too small to affect us in any way. Yes, the two countries making Bitcoin illegal would mean a big, BIG change (the price would freefall) but I don't see that happening.
China have made certain rules for the uses in using cryptocurrencies with setting the limit of trading bitcoins. Russia are tatally confused as they are some time stating legal and some time illegal to sue bitcoins

True I think a ban on the use of bitcoin will not make users stop using bitcoin. because bitcoin anonymous so you can continue to use it. except, bitcoin be legal it would be very helpful

Bitcoin is also risky due to the price fluctuate..

Seeing such a stable increase makes people wander as to why they did not buy more. So in turn they try to fud and hpe they can buy cheaper.

as far I know Bitcoin is not banned in Venezuela, at least according to the law, but I don't know if is restricted or something. of course in all totalitarians regimes everything is forbidden including what is allowed, so I don't know if Bitcoin is forbidden in practice Venezuela totally fully with a joke. http://www.forbes.com/sites/realspin/2017/02/03/why-venezuelas-currency-crisis-is-a-case-study-for-bitcoin/#59fb9a773aa1https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/venezuelan-authorities-destroy-bitcoin-mining-center-crackdown-continues/

There is really no real good reason for any country to ban bitcoin or consider it illegal to own one. From an article that I read, it says that bitcoin is officially restricted only in Iceland, Ecuador and Bolivia, while most other countries are still figuring out how to go about with the cryptocurrencies and what policies should be but in place that would legitimize their use in our daily lives.
