Absoutely no. First what if your social media account get hacked and you still have betting amount left or all your winnings are there? That is more risky than betting. I know many huge gamblers want to stay anonymous so me too.

Most sites, at least dice sites, provide either a login url (Just-Dice, SatoshiDice) or ask for a user name and password (BitDice, PrimeDice).

One of the benefits of Bitcoin gambling is betting anonymously.

There has been a couple of sites however that allowed you to login with your social media profiles, though they seem to be dead now Smiley

Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?
it does not seem necessary because many gamblers want to hide their identity while gambling. in my country gambling is illegal so it would be better to create an account on the gambling site anonym. but if the gambler likes that option because there's no need to create an account on that site which is time consuming and just needs to connect it to a social media account it's good too.

Yepp. Most of the gamblers are like to hide their identity for future purposes and as we can see all people are using other username such as name of idols, pets or cartoon character because they do not wanto get accessed by other people especially the bad ones who will likely to scammed.
People specially gamblers do really like to remain anonymous specially on this field and they dont really like to expose themselves and as you said more on those who have plans on scamming someone. Leaving without trace would be the first priority here but well we are not talking about scammers but hiding identity here on playing gambling. Having an option on doing log-in on social media isnt bad at all if the site will put up a kind of logged-in but im really sure that no one would really uses that stuff.

Firstly, it would be none of the above as gamblers would like to have their identity hidden for their own purposes. Social media accounts have a tendency to get hacked and a lot of personal information can be used against you and can be used in a myriad of ways that shouts confidientiality. Gambling sites that asks for login crdentials such as this are a no no to most gamblers

popular online gambling casino doesnt need or doesn't have this option to be able to login, mostly it was just a email for confirmation and you'll just need to provide username and that's it. No more identifiers.

No, I would definitely not login to any gambling site with my social media account, that is one of the main reason bitcoin gambling sites exist, the ability to gamble behind closed doors without letting anyone know your real identity, I prefer the gambling site that allows me to create a username and login with that method, and leaving the option of inputting an email non-mandatory.

Can you name the site that do have this kind of log-in? The word scammed isnt approriate on what you describe here but its somehow stealing email addresses for the sake of marketing and this is really the disadvantage on having this kind of log-ins because your email would be added on the list used on email marketing which is really irritating when i saw one in my inbox regarding promotions.

If i were to choose, id rather not log in to gambling site than to link my social media account in the gambling site, because here in cryptocurrency we also value or identity so we must be careful enough to log in our social media account. If ever i encounter site like them most likely ill just ignore them or use dummy accounts to ensure the secrecy of my personality

I wouldn't mind logging into a gambling site if it were based in USD.

If it were a crypto based gambling site, I probably wouldn't use a social media login. Not with Senate Bill 1241 proposed which could grant the US government the power to seize crypto without just cause or checks/balances.

If I am to use an alt social-media account, sure. But to use your real account is just something very unusual,(for me). I accept the fact that I am a gambler and there is nothing to be ashamed for it, but there isn't anything to be proud of neither.

Indeed, goverments have too much power.
We know for a fact we've been spied on from our TVs, cellphones, that not only Viber and Facebook but even Signal was breached

I always avoid using social media logins, but a lot of times, you're in a hurry, and it's a quick way in, unfortunately..

Personally I wouldn't. This would mean that one of my requirements from a gambling site is anonymity. If I would be using my own social media profile, that would mean I am in direct violation of my requirements for a gambling site. This would mean I am directly doxing myself in the gambling site.

i'm not linking or connecting my social media account in a gamblign site because they could get the token id for that so you need to allow it first on your fb to access your account to be created in their site and it's not healthy because they have an access to your account using your account token . they can't get your password and email or username but they can get your access token.

If confidentiality becomes our concern, we can create a new social media account for gambling purposes if a gambling site requires us to do so. But of course, such gambling site should offer something different, more interesting, than the sites that already exist.

I will never use any social media login feature to gambling sites, NEVER. You had already the chance to play and gamble in an anonymous way, why dump it?
I'd rather go with the process of registration than letting other people that I gamble on that site. Even with agreed terms that all information will be secured, I will still not go that way.

Before knowing about Bitcoin, I used to provide my ID in order to access to the casino both online and on the physical world. Now, since Bitcoin is a part of my life, it will be very insane if I connect my social media account to them. I love to be anonymous and Bitcoin can bring it to me. Gambling without ID will help you to avoid a lot of troubles which may exist during the time you play. Therefore, I never login to gambling site with other kinds of account
We dont know if there would be risk on connecting your personal accounts on gambling sites but yes, it is way much good if you make your profile more private than giving it to a site where they can actually investigate about your identity.

Yeah, to be honest I would even doubt gambling in a casino with that option since we know facebook and Google are in bed with the governments and do not have the best interest of the people at heart, they only care about themselves and their own business.
