I understand that we should not be mining at BTC Guild. Where do you currently, or plan to, mine?

It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.

as of which amount of gh/s would it make sense to solo? this must always be a function of difficulty, amirite?
is there some way to figure this out?

is there some way to figure this out? This will always depend on one's own tolerance for variance.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_poolsUse this I plan on going for a pool that is local and support the US pools even if some of the fee might be higher or smaller! Just stop adding onto the 25000 ghash BTC guild go for another pool! They are good looking at the table on the link!

I'll be mining on testnet. Pro. Sounds very profitable. I believe everyone else should do the same. I of course cannot mine on testnet because...umm...it violates my religious beliefs.

With two or three units, mining solo is an option. spiccioli You kids today! In my day, if you actually had your own Avalon, you could solo mine with just one of them! And it would pay for itself in a matter of days!
