If it is legit will they need to use escrow still? How reputable is the op of the other thread? Still maybe escrow should be used for the first month for confidence and to build trust.

It seems suspicious and a bit silly why Friedcat wouldnt have just created the thread for his campaign given how trustworthy is. You don't just as some random newb to runa campaign for you.

Could be that PR guy he promised lols.... Anyways lets the thread return to normalness while we wait on Friedcat or some other trustworthy person to confirm it. But it is a bit weird for a sig campaign to link to a forum thread lol. Then again FC does not have a website so um its plausible .... |

Sometimes sigs link to threads as well as their site, but usually not just a thread. I wonder if this could be a potential smear campaign. Run an unaffiliated signature campaign and run it badly and not pay? I'm sure it'll soon get busted if it is a scam though. |

If he is lucky enough to catch some whales to click on his link, they can provide him payment. 40% commission he takes for him is too high, it can be more efficient if he take only 5% and rest share to posters. |

He was running updown.bit and luckybit's deals at one point I believe until he got banned, don't know whether stole any money though. That was what UpDown claimed some time ago - when howzar was asked about this recently, he seems to have denied it (from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=738554.0): I believe that next term, the pay module will change into pay per activity. Also, howzar, why did they unban you?  This thing needs Some trust between you and the person advertising you, and frankly, I don't trust you at all (and no one else should for that matter). That might be the case, we are still unsure. I have been unbanned as I spent in excess of 3 months banned away from the forum. This much time has changed me. Why should no one trust me? I have never scammed anyone. Either way please do not discuss it here, this is not where it belongs. Thank you. I believe UpDown.bt claimed that you ran away with some of the funds he provided you for his signature campaign (in the beginning). I also remember you being banned for spamming users' PMs looking to buy their accounts. Where exactly would you like me to discuss this?  That is not a valid claim, I sent it and well okay, yes I did send several PMs, but as I have everyone else I did not SPAM them. I picked out a few accounts and did not spam everyone. Nonetheless, I have come back changed. |
