Warning/Legal Disclaimer: Digital Cryptocurrency is exceptionally volatile and can be a financial risk, please do your own homework before investing. These picks are based on my own research over the past few months and were chosen based on multiple pre-reqs including, New Features, Wallet-Ease of Use, Devs, Community, Roadmap and Future Potential. The Mining picks are based for NVIDIA/CUDA GPUs and have been most profitable for myself over the last few months.

Nvidia/CUDA Mining Picks: (Hash Based on Nvidia GTX 1070)
1. Decred (DCR) Algo: decred - Hash: 2460.00 MH/s
2. VertCoin (VTC) Algo: lyra2v2 - Hash: 18.57 MH/s
3. LBRY (LBC) Algo: lbry - Hash: 254.95 MH/s
4. NEVA (NEVA) Algo: blake2s - Hash: 3704.05 MH/s
5. Myriad (MYR) Algo: skein - Hash: 375.80 MH/s
6. Verge (XVG) Multi-Algo: blake2s/lyra2v2

Alt Coins To Hold for Q1 2017:

For NVIDIA/CUDA Miners, use CCMiner for mining, I personally recommend tpruvot's version here: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

I plan on posting Q2 and beyond in terms of new alt coin picks / mining picks for the NVIDIA/CUDA Miners out there. The Crypto world is really geared for AMD so trying to give a specific focus to NVIDIA because it does have great potential based on specific algos, lower electricity/power usage, and all around quieter mining experience.

Nice read Crypt. I've been doing good on my GTX 980 with Decred, definitely the most profitable for me at the moment and I do believe a worthy hold as well.

It should be right up there with Dash and XMR tbh price wise. The PoS alone is an amazing system but the way that DCR handles votes and governance will be the reason this coin succeeds while others fail. Hold hold hold Emilio! Smiley

And not just me who thinks that. Take a look at what Charlie Lee, director of Coinbase and creator of litecoin, said on twitter and on DECRED's slack:

Any update regarding the Q2 alt pick?

I skipped Q2 but just posted my Q3 predictions as well as a recap on the Q1 picks which were mostly up 1000%-3000%.

Q3 post is here as of yesterday: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2076997.0

Good day OP,

I am researching for CCminer when I stumbled across your thread.

Somebody told me that this article is only for AMD and not for NVIDIA:

http://cryptovore.com/2017/07/19/how-to-mine-signatum-sigt/

I am trying to mine this coin, do you happen to know if there are added instructions for me to do so I can use CCminer to mine this coin....

Or any other coin you may recommend?

Thank you for the information sir. I would appreciate if you can help a first time miner.

I use a toshiba satellite laptop with Nividia GeForce 710M
