That can happen on the near future if bitcoin continues to gain support. Even we say their is a lot of people using bitcoin it still not enough for any government of even UN to declare a bitcoin day. For the mean time and a good start is a group of user declare a day for a bitcoin then make a hash tag for it to spread to the world.

I would like to call upon entire bitcoin community to make a bitcoin commemorative day also.
Something like World Bitcoin Day.
I hope this will bring bitcoin to more attention.

Sounds interesting and why not?but I would suggest you ask thymos to take initiative in this matter.He can ask for community opinion and once decided,we can start with celebrating it from this forum. .Like a welcome text message on top of forum that reads "Happy bitcoin day"

A movie regarding bitcoin's great Triumph and this is the most nostalgic thing happen to bitcoin when it keeps on going up and never looking back I think there are movies that indicating words on bitcoin but just a portion of seconds only, I think any one in the movie industry should think about making a film base only in bitcoin, but the origin of bitcoin is never known we only knew that Satoshi make these great thing and no further information regarding about it, but still a movie would lead many people into the world of bitcoin.

Why not, I think this could be good initiative. It would be good to use that special day to further promote Bitcoin and educate people. Some smaller events to celebrate this events and where people could get more information about Bitcoin and how to use it could be organised everywhere in the world. I think this would be welcomed, just have to start it.

No!! Never wish that, it means control and we don't want control! Bitcoin needs to remain a secondary option, a commodity for those who want to save or invest their money in something else rather than a piece of paper. It would be awesomr to have a Bitcoin day, but never wish to have it as an international currency.

I didn't get your point nor the thread's. Generally everybody will wish they want one bitcoin a day. Who doesn't want to be rich right? But we all can't do it. It is like when every body is a millionaire who will be rich? Everybody has the same amount of money and nobody wants each other's money, then money becames useless because o body wants it.

It is a nice idea to have a Bitcoin day, it seems exciting... I want it also so we can celebrate just like an annual event. I think it is a great idea to attract more people to get in touch with BTC, to spread the opportunities and benefits of it.

I think to be able to do this, you need to tend full time on it  and you must be experienced enough to do this such skills. I think, people who are capable to do this are traders. This is quite idealistic for us to do more effort in order to get experience to earn more profit. Yet, as online job isn't unpredictable, you can't say you can earn 1 btc a day for example. Maybe you can earn more than 1 btc for a day or less than 1 btc a day, no one can say however it is tangible.

Yeah they should just rename or celebrate bitcoin day on the same day. I love the "Make Bitcoin Great Again" Hats. Also the fact that that women got pepper sprayed at UC Berkley. That got some coverage in the news and more people get to hear about bitcoins.

Yes, definitely we should celebrate a day for bitcoin which is helping million of people to earn the daily income and pocket money. and in fact celebrating bitcoin day would help the technology to spread like a wildfire and then everybody would start using bitcoin and such a great technology would rule the planet or at least it will get popularity.

I think that if Bitcoin fulfills its purpose for millions, and probably billions of people, we'll see that happen. There are a number of events related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general that happen every year, so I think it's only a matter of time before someone creates a campaign to encourage others to adopt this idea.

maybe someday we can have a bitcoin day after bitcoin is approve by the most country in the world because if only a few country and its small and medium country then maybe its not famous as the big country is approve bitcoin. we need more people to use bitcoin for daily and we have a lot of to do to make bitcoin really famous and spread in many locations and after this, maybe we can have a bitcoin day and we can celebrate it with other people.

That's a perfect idea; I actually thought of proposing this too but a friend shot it down and I got hesitant but I'm going to try it this time to give you and all like minded people the support so that we push for a day to celebrate our cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin.

It is a very nice idea to have a day called bitcoin day.
But that might rarely be possible. As there is such day based on a currency.
Well bitcoin can be the first crypto currency to have a day.
On that day , all its user should get certain bitcoin (Satoshi's).
If such a day emerges in future it would be pretty amazing.

Its great to had a bitcoin day but in my opinoin its not better to get it today bitcoin is not yet that too popular to those countries and to those countries who just started to use bitcoins we can say that there are countries that already uses bitcoin for their daily living but that's not enough to called a bitcoin day

Yeah, that is a good one. Here in our country I do really want to know who is using bitcoin and I want to talk to them. Having that World Bitcoin Day will be a way to socialize with other bitcoin user here. You know, talk about bitcoin not only here in the forum but in the real world. That will be really great seeing the people that you have only seen their usernames in this forum.

yes that will be really helpful, i think it is one of the most best way of introducing bitcoin to those people who do not know any thing about bitcoin. as we celebrate different day like cancer day, like labour day and so many other day through which we give awareness to the people about different issues and event, so if we start celebrating bitcoin day it will really be helpful introducing bitcoin to the people.
