Can we have a bitcoin day?

Bitcoin day like celebrating day? Why not, it's possible. This could be the good day to promote the Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, to educate people. We just need good will and enthusiast who will be the motion wheel and make the initiative. But which date would be the Bitcoin day, could we agree on this?

The Idea is look interesting so I vote for yes, but how it will happened it will be good impact  on bitcoiners if we have celebration like that . It will also affect the price if we make some noise before the celebration day happened.

To create an annually event like this takes a lot of funds, but all the bitcoiners would benefit from it. I think if a government would like to make such a thing they can do it, but for regular people it's impossible. But of course I'm in in case someone will find a way to create this event by efforts of the bitcoin community.

The idea was quite good, but like what others said, there should be an organizer who handle that event. But since bitcoin is not control by anyone, I think it will be difficult to apply your idea's unless if there's a big group in bitcoin community will take cover that event it will be happen.

I hope so, actually in some countries itself held the events about Bitcoin like Bitcoin/Blockchain Education and meet/greet with Bitcoin's member in one country like in Indonesia does so new members may interested with Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. Sounds good to me, besides 8 years now that bitcoin being established but never heard of any to have a Bitcoin day. Perhaps, there have large groups that can implement this kind of event, it can help all over the world that bitcoin will become more popular then.

Lets start from here.We do not need any international organization or body to declare Bitcoin day.We are self sufficient community.Did Satoshi ask for anyone's permission to create bitcoin? Has he waited for someone to ask him to invent bitcoin?

This will be a good idea but I think the only way to get a bitcoin day is when bitcoin has finally reached the adoption needed to be recognized as a currency around the world since we are so far away from that goal then I don’t think we are going to have a bitcoin day anytime soon.

Adoption would take time and bitcoin is not getting a massive adoption by the people, we should think of the potential users because it's not
like paper money where it can easily be used even the dumbest people. Bitcoin is online currency and hence it's complicated for those who lack
education. Despite of that, I still believe we can grow bigger as a community and we must celebrate that every.

Bitcoin day is like a celebration and I like that to be declared worldwide and we do not need the government to make it possible.

This will be a good idea but I think the only way to get a bitcoin day is when bitcoin has finally reached the adoption needed to be recognized as a currency around the world since we are so far away from that goal then I don’t think we are going to have a bitcoin day anytime soon.

As said it's a good idea, and having such a celebration will help increase popularity. The adoption is continuing gradually, so there is nothing to worry about the future adoption or acceptance as a recognised currency. A proper day need to be selected, so to reach the entire community.

We could do it, but at the same time do we need to? What I mean most of the people here in the forum are people that are very aware of bitcoin and what it means for the future, so it is not like we need a celebration to remind us of the great potential of bitcoin.

Yes i hope we have bitcoin day because it gives other people to know what is bitcoin if those people know bitcoin and invest money the bitcoin price increase and thats good to us. But everyday is a bitcoin day .I think the need mr. Satoshi to declared the bitcoin day . The benefits of bitcoin day is for us . And people gives opportunity to us.
