That's great after all this invention is the evolution of fiat currency. If only bitcoin would be adopted by countries and merchant around the globe then we could have a global celebration for this fascinating crypto currency.
But i think the community and the current users of bitcoin is actually enough to commemorate Bitcoin we dont need to start externally why not from within?
We could do it, but at the same time do we need to? What I mean most of the people here in the forum are people that are very aware of bitcoin and what it means for the future, so it is not like we need a celebration to remind us of the great potential of bitcoin. NOt just us.We need to share more and more about bitcoin in whatever capacity we can do it particularly on Bitcoin Day We are already working to spread the word bitcoin as we know if we will spread it the demand will increase more and the price of bitcoin will increase and on bitcoin day the word will boost up more as the celebration will take place and everywhere the word bitcoin will be used. We are promoting and celebrating the bitcoin but there is a need for a Bitcoin day so that it can be recognized globally. On the Bitcoin day, bitcoin will be on all news channels and held big conferences which can attract the world towards it. |

Bitcoin day, or day of crypto currencies is a great idea. But do anyone here knows more about how to set up day like that one? How many of you knows how serious organization and serious investments we need to make this come true? I don't know who can invest in all that, some big exchange site or group of big holders that will have benefit from more users.
I will check now what is needed for such day, where to try to push that and other things connected to that.

A BitCoin day is interesting. We should have one as it's going to be a big day in the future as it's probably one of the greatest inventions ever. If there is an internet day, then there should be a BitCoin day.

yes it is really interested, and i think bitcoin day will be too much helpful in promoting bitcoin. i think through this way people will know about bitcoin and hope that they will start taking interest in bitcoin and so bitcoin will become more and more trusted and reliable. |

It will be great to have bitcoin day, it makes us appreciate and also increase the bitcoin popularity, i think bitcoin should has its own day because bitcoin is the first digtal currency that been used for world wide, maybe when bitcoin gain more fame then we will have bitcoin day

I do not think that what is your idea to earn daily with celebrating a bitcoin day but it is sure that if we have a bitcoin day then people will learn about it and that day will be a big promotion day of bitcoin and the users will increase. |

yes that is right bitcoin day will play important role in promoting bitcoin. i think it will be more helpful to introduce bitcoin in such area where people do not know about bitcoin. Just (if) bitcoin day is fixed into specific day and will be held every year, but, if people don't really know what it is and don't even know that bitcoin day has existed, then, it's such a waste of effort. There are damn many days about something out there which I don't even know what it is just if google doesn't change their logos in their main page to celebrate those days I'll be probably never be informed of such things. |

Well, if this was to happen then the first big question is When? When would you like to have a bitcoin day, any suggestions? Other than 31st October, obviously.
No, the actual question to have a bitcoin day is to ask yourself why? Why have a bitcoin what is the reason behind it and what will happen on that day, the only reason that I can think of is bitcoin gets accepted in every shop on that day, so you save up all year and decide what to buy and buy it with bitcoin on that particular day, other than that there is no reason. |

It would be great to have a bitcoin day as it will the happy birthday of bitcoin and it will help us to remember us the day as the way through which we are having our income source and it is being accepted by most of the community .

I guess it's a good idea for us to have this type of bitcoin holiday. Though we are 81% that do agree with this type of day. But we can't do with it because we are small time bitcoin holders and users but if a whale is going to make this possible, maybe it can happen. Maybe if Ver is going to make a poll regarding this matter and forget what he is doing right now. Many are going to get his sentiment and will had a time for discussing for this bitcoin day. |

I dont think it will happen anytime soon as currently a lot of the population doesn't know/has negative opinions against bitcoin. Would love the idea though, really.
But on the other hand a part of my brain thinks that we shouldn't have bitcoin day..as its just a currency, and we dont have a day for each currency, right?

We don't need all of them to adopt, we only expect people who are risk takers and willing to hope bitcoin regardless of the odds. Let us not think that bitcoin is stable already because it's not, the price that we saw does not represent it's real market situation, you will have to believe me because it's manipulated. |
