We can have a day dedicated to bitcoin, it is a very sensible thing, but I do not think we should remove him valentina. It is a very meaningful holiday for everyone, if I choose, I will choose valentine's day.

But I don't think that we can have bitcoin day because some currencies don't have it also, so it will be unfair to other currencies that bitcoin has a bitcoin day but the others are none.

Well I guess you are right. Bitcoin is all over the world and any one can have it unlike other currencies and if we can have bitcoin day that would be great that every one will have also got interested in bitcoin.

If at all, it should be a Bitcoin Foundation role to make a bitcoin awareness day. That is the reason for various annualy apointed days. Such a raising of awareness is costing a lot of money to do properly.

We can only propose the need of such an event, but we are uncapable to do so because of the funds, as a forum community.

I think its better if we have bitcoin day because we that many people curious what is bitcoin and they make a research and if they see the opportunity of bitcoin for sure they interst to invest in bitcoin so the price increase for sure. Everyone will benefits for sure if they have bitcoin day. You what is your thoughts for the bitcoin day? For you it is okay or not? For me its okay I hope it will happen that we have bitcoin day.

Basically having a bitcoin day costs nothing just a official date and day. We won't see mass participation or huge impact from first year but gradually there can be conference and there can be rallies for bitcoins and people share and talk about bitcoins.

We do not need to remove any other day for celebrating valentine day because bitcoin has its own day of its foundation so we will celebrate that day for the day of bitcoin and at that day we will do some excite-full events to promote it more and more.

Yeah and a bitcoins day would bring some attention too for example if a newspaper prints about the Bitcoins's day or the celebration then people would come to know about bitcoins. But that been said its not that easy since we need a large group of people coming together, celebrating and this is very difficult as people love to rather stay anonymous.

I do not see any need to celebrate a similar day. After all, there is no Dollar Day. Why do we need bitcoin day? It's just a phenomenon that does not need much attention

yes that is very right we do not need to remove any other day for bitcoin, but to celebrate it on its own day. i think it is also one of the most good way of introduction bitcoin, specially in such area where people do not have any idea about bitcoin. i am hopeful that through this way they will certainly know much more about bitcoin and hopeful that they will start using and investing money in bitcoin.

Cool. Sometimes it is very difficult to produce 1 bitcoin in 1 day, even I can not do it now. Maybe trading and gambling is how to get it, but sometimes to produce something big, need money, and high risk.
