These babies will chug up at least 40 BTC's in three months. They are stratum positive and can be used for pool mining. As they are used right now (I mean their siblings, I believe this 10 blades are brand new).

Absolutely. If you think about getting a ROI under six month, it is still a bargain.

Yes - considering that friedcat probably has the chips on hand already. (I'm still confirming that with him)

Duration of warranty period is still not clarified, as well as what software is running.

I appreciate everyone who selflessly donates their BTC towards securing the network. Once the hardware is cheaper and widely available I will also pitch in.

... and one more question?
These are obviously the first version boards.
If they are also the current version then they have made over 6,000 of them already.
Are they current tech or old tech as far as what you are making at the moment?
As per the OP, it's their current tech. (also used by themselves for AM)

...
Sorry I can't see that written there anywhere.

Basically I'm assuming that they are now up to making better hardware and are selling the old hardware as they upgrade it.
So my question can be rephrased as: am I wrong?

(but yes that 6,000 number is wrong I should have said >600 - yeah I'd imagine 6,000 would be basically impossible at this point considering how much hardware is required for 10GH/s)

Introduction
This is the first round of a series of auctions for Bitfountain products. 10 Block Erupter blades, the same as the ones used in ASICMINER's actual deployment, are available for bidding in this round.

Hmm I took that to mean "used" = past tense, and they are selling them as they upgrade them to new hardware that's coming on line now or shortly.

I guess you are personally confirming that isn't the case.
