Arranged the list nicely.
Less than 10 hours left - bid for your once in a lifetime chance at those beautiful ASICS! Lay your hands on a piece of Bitcoin history!

70+ BTC for 10GHs Huh? you can get FPGAs for a quarter of that price, regardless of power consumption this is just stupid!

look at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179800.0 - 2 FPGAs each 380MH/s. They are going for 5,5BTC/piece right now. That's 14.47 BTC/(GH/s). So, Block erupter should be sold for 144.7 BTC. And Block erupter si more power efficient

Yes, that's true! Finally found someone who has done his homework now.  Tongue

John, just in the interest of full disclosure, are you receiving any compensation for running this auction?

Yes, I am receiving compensation from friedcat for running this auction - probably paid from friedcat's own coffers though.

Hi there,

Does anyone know where to order a case for the board(s), preferrably in Germany? It doesn't necessarily have to be the 19"-rack shown in one of the pictures. A case for 1-4 units would be great.

I'll ask friedcat if he can sell you the case he's using now - it would be trivial to add that rack together with your order. (assuming if you've won the bid)

You cannot remove your bid, this has been reiterated multiple times already. Seeing as you have the lowest bids and 7 hours left, wait like everyone else and see what the turn out will be.

Unfortunately this, but I'm sure you'll be pushed out from the running in no time.  Wink

Devils advocate, you would receive double the MH/$ with a 5830, than by paying $8300 for 10GH... sure, power consumption, but finding a place with power inclusive is easy, hell, I'm renting one as my office at the moment.

Hi there guys,
Just one question: does this board come preconfigured to work with a pool or can you get it to work with any pool of your choice or alternatively do solo mining?
Also, any screenshot of the software just to have a idea of how does it look like?
Thx.

With 5830s you need board, PSU, CPU, HDD... And how many cards will you need to get 10GH/s? At least 30. That's a lot of noise!

You'll have to deal with the 30+- 5830 for a single small board of 10GH/s. Trust me, you don't want to deal with the heat and maintenance when they start to pile up.  Tongue

You can get it work with multiple pools. I'm not sure about this, but solo mining should be possible you run the daemon yourself.
No screenshots were made available to me yet, but I'll ask friedcat for this.

Quick Installation The setup is almost self-explained. After assembly and powering up, access 192.168.1.254:8000 from your PC for configuration.

Great, if you can find out about solo mining specially when several boards are purchased and a screenshot of the soft will be greatly appreciated. Thx.

To prevent any problems in the last 2 minutes:

Maybe change the timer + 2 minutes so that the forum time and the clock beneath your post are synchronised? Smiley
