I told you all to put on shorts when we ran up to $387.

Nailed it!

"bitcoin is here to stay"
"we would make a mistake if we would not do it" (i cannot exactly cite that one)
"And it just seems like based on what I have learned, some of those applications could be so compelling that it would be a real mistake for us as a commission to not make sure we are staying on top of these development's.
Not, because we want to do anything other than understand the developments because it seems like this protocol, the Bitcoin protocol or something like it is very, very likely here to stay.
So the more information and education we can do on this now in trying to stay somewhere on the appropriate spot of the learning curve, it seems to be a very sensible thing to do.
So I think that it has been very, very helpful and thank you for representing the CFCT staff and I will turn it back over now."

Let's not mince words.

Brain itch after some of that CTFC meeting but hell yes, CCMF.
What was the outcome of this meeting?

Regulate BTC. Shut up and take our money! Grin

Also telling what the actual paradigm is of the one guy in particular when he wanted to know how to use bitcoin to transfer fiat.

I felt a face palm coming on  Roll Eyes

I wish the spokespeople for bitcoin would just once have the balls enough to say, we're giving you room to participate in making bitcoin a safe pain in the ass free alternative to your worthless fiat, but if you think you can regulate it out of existence, think again. It's here to stay. This is just professional courtesy...you don't control shit  Grin

By January Gox was dead and all I have left of my BTC50 is a tiny piece of a class action suit.

I think that read of a Canadian class action suit that was recently withdrawn after negotiations with Sunlot, like the US one was.  Or have I mixed the MtGOX class action with some other case?

There was nothing positive or negative about that meeting. Nothing was decided it was just a Q&A session. Not well done, by the BTC side, either. They don't explain things well to those who aren't as technically savvy, which is unfortunate.

agree, the inability to properly explain the necessity of the bitcoin unit inside the ledger is becoming quite alarming IMO.

These crazy BTC price fluctuations must be the work of the speculators. I am more and more believing in the story that Chinese exchanges are doing all this on purpose. At least it is not boring in the BTC world!  Smiley

Or minor correction after several days of steady growth? Day's candle is still green, although not so tall any more.

Why do people keep selling! If you're not interested in holding for years, don't bother getting involved!! This is so frustrating!

Thanks.  So the class action has indeed been derailed into a plea to stop the liquidation and give all assets to Sunlot (which has already granted "pardon" to GGB and JMC, even before any investigation).  Tongue

last sell had some panic to it, everyone thinks we have to hit 320 or lower before we can leave for blast off ( in elliot wave charting worlds especially )

but imo shorts closed, and new ones reopened instantly on the spike to 394 facking oh well, recoveries have to be a bit weird.
