Looks like $150 was a short term bottom after all, as I suggested it might be. Personally I stayed out because I'm not trading this anymore, but congratz to Blitz and the others who bought and made a very nice percentage, gotta acknowledge a good trade when traders make one  Smiley

I'm still pretty convinced it's just a short term bottom though. As always, there is all the time in the world to break below that.

You bulls will have to pump it a lot more to break that or to break the previous bubble high at $260.
Good luck with all that, definitely not an easy task  Grin

Was thinking the same, whoever bought @<$200 just made a good trade, just don't be greedy and sell before the next crash (which I think is not going to take long before happening ), I think the price will race a bit because of the panics buys thinking it is a reversal (but I don't think we can go over 300) then it will settle for a couple of days before the next crash and the next new lower bottom.

Edit: I stopped trading at $580 and got all my funds out of stamp, I have mixed feelings about not trading and missing these opportunities but I also can't take any risks at this critical time.

What convinced you stamp was unreliable enough for you to pull everything out when the price was $580?

nothing, I just saw the price going nowhere and I knew it would take a really long time before hitting the bottom, so I didn't feel comfortable leaving my funds that long on an exchange... I never leave BTC on exchanges and I leave fiat a couple of days maximum, since it take only a day to wire money on and off Bitstamp (most o the time I get money on and off stamp the same day).

Edit1: I started selling off my stash February last year and in august I gradually sold off all my stash and it was the last time I used Bitstamp.

Edit2: my mistake, I bought some coins to invest in a stratup which turned to be a very bad idea (lost €7.5K) and sold what have been left in October.

Why the Top Dogs of Finance Are Investing in Bitcoin

That this new interest from conventional investors comes after a 67% decline in the Bitcoin price last year speaks volumes. They recognize that the real value of Bitcoin isn't the price on any given day, but the technology it's built upon.
