To be honest, so far, Gox lag is saving the price probably. Who knows where it would go, people on Stamp and specially BTC-e were trading for much more following Gox, lol

The only bad thing is if they start to execute orders now.

Am I understanding this right? Gox is executing the same sell order over and over, by rolling back all the trades and then re-executing them? What in the actual fuck?

Its more like in those movies where the thieves put the surveillance cameras on a loop so you can't see what is happening.

Me too - have uncancelable orders on there - I kept trying to put them in and every time I refresh / re-login, they are back.  Terrifying !

What's going on with gox right now?  are people able to get through if they want to sell or are they stuck like last time?  just wondering if the new improvements they made are helping keep trading responsive

My estimation is that this is the big one.  There may be a quick "return to normal" rise, but the Chinese companies dropping BTC acceptance is the interpretation of the Central bank ruling that we all didn't want.  It is going to be hard for BTC to take a significant amount of the international B2B trade if this major export country won't accept it.

Still, I haven't cracked my cold wallet so will be happy no matter what happens...

See you back at the L1 exponential line -- its still an AMAZING rate of growth!

You're right in so many ways-- for a US citizen, what would you suggest? Coinsetter and Kraken aren't OK-GO for volume...
