if we reach 100k and just blow by it 100k won't have ever meant much.

If you look at dec 23 2020 we were are 23k

by jan 5 2021 we were as 32k and no one gave a fuck about hitting 23k on dec 23

so if we do 100k on dec 23 2024 and jump to 140k by jan 5 2025 who cares about 100k and from

jan 5 2023 32k we went to 64k in April 2021

which would be 140k jan 5 2025 to 280k April 2025

making the 100k a nothing burger and even dwarfing  the 140k number.


Would be nice to watch it happen.

TL;DR 6 years left for regular investing...after that...currently unknowable.

EDIT: says that we will have only 6 years to invest and after that AI progress would made this meaningless, and current corporate structure dilapidated as well.
AI would build another AI to do certain tasks and it would snowball from there...says that we could have 1mil X increase in AI capabilities within 6 years.
Everything would be super-deflationary.

I've seen that movie! Can't believe it's already 40 years old. But I don't worry about AI, as long as they're trying to sell it and hiring instead of firing humans, I think it's only a hype. I'll start worrying about AI when those companies fire everyone including the CEO, and continue development without them.

Apple is about to open its payment (NFC) chip up to 3rd parties. What does this mean exactly? It means that soon you will be able to send crypto using your phone with the same sort of ease that you make an Apple Pay transaction now.

I think this new development is not going to affect the ability to send cypto using the NFC like the Apply Pay alone but it will also give way for bigger innovations such as contact less data transfer, access control and it will help in the public transport system and more importantly, payment providers since IT geeks can now develop NFC based solutions using this technology without necessarily being tied to only the Apple framework.

The solution provides an opportunity for people to make contactless crypto payments at POS systems, developers can make NFC enabled vending cards that enables you to buy goods by simply tapping on your personalized NFC crypto card. Another solution this could provide is that it can be employed to make P2P transactions a lot easier where you can just tap your devices together to transfer funds from the sender wallet to the receiver's wallet without having to type in their wallet addresses or scan barcodes. And many more.

My only concern is that at this developmental stage or so, I feel like many of these aforementioned options will likely face glitches in the meantime, I don't think there would be a smooth implementation across all boards while ai still expect the developers to do due diligence.
