OT:
But hey no worries, Apple is here to save us all with new product announcements! A new iPhone 16 somethingbillion on the way! Oh yay!

I wonder how that Apple Vision Pro VR headset is selling...like hot cakes I bet.   /s   Roll Eyes

Yaaas, because what the world really needed was an expensive VR headset to distract us from the impending economic doom....

I mean, who needs food or shelter when you can have a sleek new iPhone and a chance to virtually escape the ruins of society?

And don't even get me started on the Apple Vision Pro I'm sure it's flying off the shelves and into the hands of all the newly unemployed folks who just happen to have a spare few thousand bucks lying around. Thanks, Apple, you're the real MVP

lots of great stuff but his Thulsa Doom (from conan) especially rocked... those looks he gives

Long live the The king of ZAMUNDA...... One of my favorite black actors

What's up with the LHC talk?
I thought it restarted more than 2 years ago.

I don't know what is LHC talk or what it has to do with this thread.

Is it a shitcoin?  aka a crypto?   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

There has been a lot of talk about the Bitcoin trend, but I am clear, good movements are taking place, I found this on the web and I find it interesting:

Bitcoin Leveraged Positions Building Up: BTC To $50,000 Or $60,000?

Quote
Amid this development, one on-chain analyst notes that there has been a massive accumulation of leveraged positions from March 2024. Though it remains uncertain which direction prices will move, the current state of affairs means sellers have the upper hand.

Original source:https://www.newsbtc.com/bitcoin-news/bitcoin-leveraged-positions-building-up-btc-to-50000-or-60000/

Everything indicates indecision, in the article they see the panorama only with a bearish market, but I am more of the opinion that due to the movement of the old wallet that moved more than $8 million in bitcoin and due to the recovery above $56k, I want to think positive.

Bearish or bullish? For me bullish for these two movements, going over #$60k, according to other analyses they say that if it reaches $&6k again and exceeds it, the ceiling will be at $72k, if the negative panorama passes, it goes down, because there is no other option: Buy.

Sounds like gobble-dee-gook to me... especially the part about if we are not going up, then therefore odds are greater that we are going to go down.. maybe wishful thinking and sure maybe there is some kind of a correction to wipe out leveraged longs prior to going up, yet I doubt that there is any kinds of necessity that BTC prices have to go down before up, even if there appears to be incentives to try to wipe out the leveraged longs prior to going up.

The other part about $72k being a ceiling.. sure yeah great, it is possible that $72k is a ceiling and continues to serve as a ceiling, until it doesn't.. so observing $72k as a supposed ceiling seems like a big so what.. and a big have fun staying poor if you are failing/refusing to prepare for UP because you consider $72k as some kind of a meaningful ceiling.

I believe Biodom is talking about CERN with LHC referring to the Large Hadron Collider which was down for repairs/upgrades and returned to service back in 2022 and while not a "crypto", it seems to be mooning since achieving "stable beam" back in April:

Michael Saylor on CNBC...great stuff.

Watch per year projections:
Gives 44% growth now/per year, which is the same as in a video I linked beforehand (https://youtu.be/VRs_bnO9Ies?t=1930).

Here is Michael:
https://youtu.be/-jXOtjAoKWs?t=548

EDIT: of course, $13 mil in 21 years...if we still be here.

Party pooper: 13 million in 21 years, equal to 7 million today with inflation at 3%.
REKT!

EDIT: stupid typos

FTFY and you won't be happy with $7 mil/btc today (or in today's $$ value)?
I would be  Grin

Alas, it averages at only 44% yearly now (with spikes and plunges, though).

Did buddy take the night off?

Oh snap, he’s back!

Just as things start getting exciting… The market is ripping pretty hard off that $52K bottom. A huge amount of retail shorts have been liquidated in recent days. That’s a pretty good sign. We also appear to have put in a higher low at $52K than the previous $49K. Looks like potentially the first time in 6 months if it holds.

They call it a "Mandela" effect...but among situations depicted below I only distinctly remember comedian Sinbad playing genie in a movie called Shazam (or Shazaam) in the 90ies, but, apparently, it NEVER happened.

https://getpocket.com/explore/item/10-examples-of-the-mandela-effect

There is a nice flick about it (or something like that)... "Yesterday".
The vid is a bit long, but you would get an idea:
