Texas Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Bill heads to the Governor's desk for a final signature. The price may be dipping but the progress continues. I think this makes 3 states now or is there more? I just wonder if we’re going to see the federal government make a buy before the end of the year. The states are sure to keep piling in.
The gov is thought to sign without issue. Texas is big, (as they say). And if it was a country (which many residents would like) it's GDP would be the 8th largest in the world. Ahead of Russia, S Korea, Canada and Australia. Interesting development.

Maybe I should not care, but what happened with the supposed supra $1 billion, and it was even getting closer to $2 billion because it kept growing.
Not sure but it was a 40x i think. Also congrats Sir Azimuth.

First day of official retirement so thought I'd go with a bottle of that Dom Purge bubbly stuff. (or wtf that pretentious crap is called) Because celebration.... yee haaa! But alas, my local pakky doesn't stock that shit, so opted for a bottle of Korbel Brute instead.(as in Brutal headache shortly thereafter quaffing the bottle) Same difference, just 250$ cheaper. I'll take the headache. Nothing a couple of ibuprofen won't fix. Besides that Dom Purge shit would give me the same headache anyway, so there is that. GO BITCOIN Congratulations with you early retirement Sirazimuth! It happens occasionally when you meet someone talking about social life.... and work, what do you say to them assuming not reveiling you became a rich Bitcoiner enjoying early riterement but using a blatant lie for your own security? Personally, using the alibi; "work at home due to Covid as a customer service employee for a cyber security company." Gaslighting scamming methods. Funny thing is they all giving similair examples and compliment them not bait the trap pulling the long bow by placing the ball at their hands. It works very well for me after 4 years retirement. Although, only a handfull knows my real situation that's only i can't lie to certain people.

Oh yeah, and 20 months is a whole fuck of a lot for a delay, which gosh might even have had gotten us into late 2023 prior to the October/November 2023 price run... but surely we cannot turn back the clock.. even though those would have had been upper $20ks and just below $30k prices in that time... which is a $80k price differences, if it would have had been possible to get the money in early October 2023.
TBC, the trial should have lasted 10-12 months, so the delay was "only" 8-10 months, i was talking about the $60k range the price was at, around that time. I'm quite good at the waiting game (also thanks to Bitcoin's cycles), but i got increasingly uncomfortable feelings while watching the BTC price going up slowly but steadily. However, i'm actually very happy that the wait is definitely over now, but i'm no more that type that get's overly excited about things, because doing so depletes quite some of my dopamine. Staying humble after big success is the farsightedly better option there.

Congratulations with you early retirement Sirazimuth!
It's so much easier after you reach 65. People start assuming you're retired and if the question arises about how you can afford a few luxuries, you tell them you're liquidating some of your investments to augment your pension income. Having a convenient fictional word-of-mouth sole proprietorship or two also helps. It's also important to explain that you're not spending as much as they might think. I had to explain to my taxman that I was actually saving money by flying down to Mexico for my winters by showing him that I was saving more by turning down the heating at home and spending less for food and expenses than I was spending to fly down and back. By the time I discovered Bitcoin I already had decades of experience at keeping up appearances.

GO BITCOIN always as in always finsh your drinking with at least a quart of clean water or seltzer. The secret is to continue with the same drink the next day. Nothing cures a hangover like a new dose of alcohol.
