Since November 11th, Bitcoin wallets holding over 100 BTC increased while small wallets (under 0.1 BTC) declined.

Phil - Of course shares of an ETF is not insured, and of course (just like shares of any stock it can crash and burn. I've owned stocks for decades and currently own over thirty AI stocks worth millions, including the Mag7 stocks. Owning any ETF or company's stock has risks. Don't you think I already know this?

Haha, stocks can't be hacked and stolen, BTC can and your [sic] you're retarded if you think they are going to cover you when they "lose" your coins.

I'm not one bit worried about Fidelity 'loosing' the Bitcoins that cover my Fidelity spot Bitcoin ETF shares! Not a bit... But thanks for your concern!  Kiss

BTW - I'm not retarded; I actually had my IQ tested twice, three years apart - the first was 154 and the second was 158. That was about a year before I took the LSAT which I scored 173 and almost aced the logical reasoning section where I only missed one of the 48 LR questions... So there! Tongue  I ain't like your typical WO OG thug!

Dear friend, you may wish to read up on some ancient history: Ron Paul's '08 campaign, the "Great Financial Crisis"- and the many bankers that were punished and jailed for malfeasance, bitcoin's launch...to obtain a better understanding regarding what it is you are investing (in a second order derivative of) which may help moving forward.

Yours truly, asUHWEceyc

Dear sir, with an alleged IQ of more than 150 you.. decide to hold your whole stash on Fidelity and feel like you are not able to self custody? Nobody is going to believe this..

The fact that so many people wanting the bottom to be in and saying that it is, makes me believe this gonna go much lower,

It is  why talking about the bottom is foolhardy.

I forbid all bottom talk until we pass 100.8k until then watch your coins. Hodl better yet stack some more and hodl.

And everyone talking about crashing last week made you believe that the price will go up, right?

It is  why talking about the bottom is foolhardy.

Agreed, there is no reason to talk about the bottom at all until some time has passed since it happened.

My IQ has varied as low as 132 as high as 151.

I got the lower scores while I was very into weed.

IQ IS one way to judge puzzle solving, but there are a lot of ways to solve a puzzle.

I saw someone write that this bear market ends when everyone apologizes to Germany for selling. Lol

It does look like we rejected off the former support level from earlier in the week. That’s not good. Still seems to be in a short term up trend so we will see what happens today. I would really like to see Bitcoin rally but remain skeptical.

I called out then that that was nothing but moving an appreciating asset from the people into institutions and that has been proven to be 100% correct.

The 5.2BTC that cover my spot Bitcoin ETF shares are safely in the sole custody of Fidelity, one of the oldest and largest global financial firms in the world that handles over $15 Trillion in assets under tight control by the U.S. Security Exchange Commission.

That sounds reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyy safe.
Fidelity are a band of jerks. I was royally screwed by them, for a significant amount. Quite significant indeed. Tread carefully.

I have been fucked by Salomon Smith Barney and Goldman Ballsacks, I doubt there is one establishment cunt financial institution that will not fuck you.

Any W.O member that falls for these Institutional shill cunts spiel deserves what they get, you have been warned.

I am sure that it is possible to live in the modern world without bank accounts, yet it seems to me that a person who travels, it would be quite difficult to carry out such travels without any bank accounts. .not impossible but likely not convenient.

Does a person need to travel?  No.

Recall during covid how very wealthy folks were travelling by private plane and many normies were stuck with a lot of restrictions.

Travelling by private plane is likely empowering, yet it might take time to set up systems and imagine how many planes or pilots a person might have, and are they going to be sufficiently safe?  I know that there are contract planes too, and much of that gets expensive, and yeah, travel or not?

Sure, there are other ways that guys can spend time and money... and if a person does not leave his local area, he might be able to get away without as many banking services, yet there are likely trade offs with that too.. especially if a person has a lot of bitcoin and there mght not be  a local economy to exchange bitcoin for goods and services.

Not sure where you got living without a bank account from not using institutions for investing from my posts but whatever, infer whatever you want.

@Bithodlers - I'm definitely able to self-custody; I don't want to deal with self-custody.

Some people hide their valuable assets (cash, gold, gems, etc.) in a mattress or home safe, while others may choose a bank's safe deposit storage box.

I'm perfectly comfortable with Fidelity taking custody of the Bitcoin that covers my spot Bitcoin ETF shares...

Coinbase executed an internal transfer of approximately 800,000 BTC, valued at $69.5 billion. Traders initially totally misinterpreted this move and sold their BTC.

So today I am moving my PayPal purchased fully kyc'd with traceable cash into my own address.

I did a lot of buying the last few weeks and do not want a PayPal fail to hurt my holdings.

all labeled with a digital trail.

I will cash if and when needed. these coins can be considered clean as the digital  trail is

1) direct deposit pension check to bank

2) bank to paypal account

3) use PayPal account to buy from PayPal

4) move from PayPal to clean address never used

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"
