Phil - Of course shares of an ETF is not insured, and of course (just like shares of any stock it can crash and burn. I've owned stocks for decades and currently own over thirty AI stocks worth millions, including the Mag7 stocks. Owning any ETF or company's stock has risks. Don't you think I already know this?
Haha, stocks can't be hacked and stolen, BTC can and your [sic] you're retarded if you think they are going to cover you when they "lose" your coins. I'm not one bit worried about Fidelity 'loosing' the Bitcoins that cover my Fidelity spot Bitcoin ETF shares! Not a bit... But thanks for your concern! BTW - I'm not retarded; I actually had my IQ tested twice, three years apart - the first was 154 and the second was 158. That was about a year before I took the LSAT which I scored 173 and almost aced the logical reasoning section where I only missed one of the 48 LR questions... So there! I ain't like your typical WO OG thug! Dear sir, with an alleged IQ of more than 150 you.. decide to hold your whole stash on Fidelity and feel like you are not able to self custody? Nobody is going to believe this.. @Bithodlers - I'm definitely able to self-custody; I don't want to deal with self-custody. Some people hide their valuable assets (cash, gold, gems, etc.) in a mattress or home safe, while others may choose a bank's safe deposit storage box. I'm perfectly comfortable with Fidelity taking custody of the Bitcoin that covers my spot Bitcoin ETF shares...

Coinbase executed an internal transfer of approximately 800,000 BTC, valued at $69.5 billion. Traders initially totally misinterpreted this move and sold their BTC.

So today I am moving my PayPal purchased fully kyc'd with traceable cash into my own address. I did a lot of buying the last few weeks and do not want a PayPal fail to hurt my holdings. all labeled with a digital trail. I will cash if and when needed. these coins can be considered clean as the digital trail is 1) direct deposit pension check to bank 2) bank to paypal account 3) use PayPal account to buy from PayPal 4) move from PayPal to clean address never used

I saw someone write that this bear market ends when everyone apologizes to Germany for selling. Lol
You are really a lost puppy. It does look like we rejected off the former support level from earlier in the week. That’s not good. Still seems to be in a short term up trend so we will see what happens today. I would really like to see Bitcoin rally but remain skeptical.
Trying to act like you are still "one of us." hahahahahaha

Do you guys remember how we talked about it? One day it would be companies and one day it would be countries and then one day there would be a boss fight with the central banks? Yes. Though I also remember talking about peer-to-peer electronic cash so who knows? I agree if your point is it's concerning to see Bitcoin kind of be twisted into just a store of value. It will be interesting to watch what happens around the idea of deminimis transactions. Even ridiculously low ones, like I think I've heard $300 here and there, would be useful to seeing the emergence of Bitcoin being used as transactional money by us less-hair apes. As long as every Bitcoin purchase is also a taxable event, Bitcoin is not going to become transactional, it just isn't. It's nice what Jack Dorsey has done recently, and I hope he has some strong insight that we may be seeing the deminimis legislation pass at least. (and I know that there are many places in the world where that is not the case and Bitcoin can be used as transactional money, but the big dogs are still holding that line.) My dark side is worried because it does seem there is an ongoing campaign being waged against Bitcoin again, or still, and that it is both in the bankers and the government which as I often say are really the same thing... And I worry that even getting the deminimis legislation to pass may be hard. While a lot of the other Bitcoin legislation, clarity, and executive orders can be used in ways that benefit the powers that be as well as seem like they're good for Bitcoiners. The small purchase tax exclusion would have no advantage for those powers, only the "citizen". I admit, I am waning a little in my positivity. I will await my batslap.

The more I read your posts, the more I get a picture of what you are mostly doing here, which is trying to irritate a certain class of Bitcoinner who are very present in this forum thread. I haven't figured out yet if you're just mean-spirited or if this is a defense mechanism because you feel like those people are judging you or something I'm not sure. But someone who claims to have as high an IQ as you have recently claimed, should be able to see immediately that your argument is fallacious. Actually on several levels. First of all, where is your evidence that the people who sold an anticipation of that being a big, sale coming are OGs? I'm sure some of the people who sold may have been, but that's the kind of thing that traders do and people who aren't convinced of what they hold or actually misunderstand it entirely. For the most part, bitcoiners who go way back are holders. Or gone. Obviously. Also... I will take the liberty of speaking on behalf of that group. I don't think most of us intend not to use our money.

Trying to act like you are still "one of us." hahahahahaha Nobody likes him, is my understanding correct? I think you are all trying to act like you are one of me would be the more accurate statement. I correctly speculate on the Bitcoin price, most people here just say it's going up and then lose 70% of their money every 4 years... I said everyone would hate me when I turned bearish at the top in spite of me trying to save them from losing massive amounts of their net worth. The fact that I was able to predict the emotions of people in this thread on top of the Bitcoin price is hilarious to me. However, there are mentally ill people in this thread who think that the Bitcoin market hangs on our every word and me being bearish somehow effects the price, so they irrationally hate the only person who told them the truth about where the price was headed. I called the top. I was mocked for it. I was right. Now they are mad. I get it to some extent. I'm clearly trolling the idiots like yourself and JJG. Nice people think I'm talking to them and being an insufferable bear so for those of you in that camp, I truly apologize. In reality, I'm sure I still hold far more BTC than most in this thread. I want the price to go up, I just don't deny reality when it slaps me in the face.

So I think the flaw in your logic here is you began by saying nobody and I answered saying that's not true and I can answer that way because I happen to like him. But you were originally responding to something said by a single user. That user tends to speak derisively when someone starts saying bearish things here. He's famous for it, in fact But not only that, he also has a penchant for using royal pronouns, and will speak for all of us every now and then, even though that might be a little over the top sometimes.

Now I get my flaw then, because JayJuanGee is so active and writes a lot here I thought he represented the majority opinions on things going on in WO. My apologies, I need to read more. I hope ya'll apply the no stupid questions philosophy or some of us newbies are cooked otherwise.

But you've also been pretty busy playing the I told you so card which, admit it, is designed to make people mad. One bone I have to pick though is the idea that not selling the top means that you lose money. I agree if one can be a disciplined and accurate trader that one should make moves that line their pockets one way or the other. I don't know your skill at that, how often you're right, how often you're wrong. But I know mine. And I have held through pretty much all of Bitcoin's bears. And I haven't lost a sat. I understand that the point is I've lost potential gains, but at least for me, that type of thinking is very poisonous.

But... He is also the only member of this group who has a designated day on which we can tell him to fuck off. I can't remember what day that is and I'm not usually wanting to say it anyway. And on the other hand, Mr. Nasty is currently kind of poking the bear here, or the bull maybe I should say, and his popularity, so to speak, may be at a local bottom. It's just the word "nobody" is very black and white.
