I am having a cup of coffee that I just brewed from beans that I roasted myself. Right now, last night, I had a glass of white wine. I have to be careful with that, though. Too much alcohol is not good for me.

There's nothing wrong with recreational/educational drugs.

Just stay away from dangerous addictive drugs like opioids, tobacco, benzodiazepines, cocaine, barbiturates etc., except in emergencies.

And most of those dangerous drugs are miraculous in the right context.  I broke 7 bones in 14 places all at once a while back.  Super grateful for opioids.

Here... in this conversation I think we are rubbing up against the same sort of divide we are seeing closer to the topic.  There are those of us who do our own research, think with nuance rather than binaries, trust our own judgement and tend to look on institutions, governments and  the status quo with suspicion.  We WANT to be responsible for ourselves.  And then there are those who want to trust the institutions, (TruST tHE ScIEncE!) the "best practices" of the status quo and would prefer to trust institutions rather than themselves...

It is what it is.

Wanted to add that drugs are medicine, their effects completely depend on the usage.

OK: Cultural, social, recreational, therapeutic use. (And fun, if harmless, because why not)

Not OK: Escapism, compensation, exploitation, control (over sbd.), homicide.

Some of the most addictive and harmful drugs (neurotoxins) are legally available in public areas, while heavily taxed by governments.

Think about that.

It's not for me... It's known to often lead to life-altering problems for the user as well as others...

I feel like something big is rumbling off in the distance.

That's just my stomach, since adding Metamucil and plant sterols to the daily regimen; takes a while for the stomach biome to adjust, from my understanding.

This getting old stuff really sucks, NGL.

Add a little Kombucha and Kimchi and really get the party started!

Oh my god, Kimchi is so good. And amazing for the microbiome.

it wouldn't be the worst idea to set off the fluoride and add little amounts of psilocybine or LSD.

I do not think they react chemically at all with flouride.

But then again, as the great Paracelsus once said: "the dose makes the poison".

Umm, I take it that it's common practice for many here to use mind-altering drugs...  Shocked

Well, of course, don't you?

Nope, no way! I know better... I don't want any chance of becoming a helpless loser druggie, stoner, junkie, or addict.

That's not the point. Fluoride is only good for hardening teeth if mixed with saliva for no less than two minutes if applied locally.
If it's digested, it's more poisonous than helpful.

And there are mind-control concerns within the conspiracy-community. Just saying. I find it pretty ironic that a society in a mind controlled bubble has concerns about mind control.

True.
But...
I'd add an exclusion: Poisons that aggregate/enrich in body tissue. Aluminium, for example.

My BMI is roughly 20, my HRV is great, blood pressure excellent, not talking about IQ, financed and built a home, couple kids, a pretty, smart and loving wife, at age more than half a century.
Used drugs since age 16, more responsibly since age 20-ish*, some daily for years or even decades, rarely the bad stuff, never the worst stuff, no addictions.
I was occasionally forced to quit (holidays, stays at hospitals...), had no problems whatsoever, just had to temporarily give up the usual benefits.
Most of the application is medical/therapeutical with occasional recreational adventures in between.
I also was a heavy smoker and drinker until 35-ish. I don't miss a thing about it, i never turned back. Lesson learned, and i was quite lucky, mostly health wise, compared to my past companions.

It's said that autistic people have considerably less problems with substance addictions than normal people.
A close friend suffers severe pain from her period. She's diagnosed ASS + strong ADHD, uses Opioids for five days every month, no problems with addiction. She loves the frenzy, though, mainly because it works against her ADHD symptoms, but she never has a problem quitting the opioid painkillers after her period is over.
(I just remembered she said she can't stand the day of sweating much after coming off).

EDIT: It's binge-watching night. Have a good time y'all.

EDIT2: This was my 4444th posting as OOM here  Cool Just noticed after editing  Grin
