Maybe today is a good time for us all to start tax planning before badger gets really serious.

Edit:  in a highly unusual move, I just took my own advice.

I spoke to a tax accountant that specializes in expat and bitcoins. She quoted me a $50k fee to do my taxes going back a few years to ensure full compliance. Half of the fee was for "research". I didn't feel like I needed to pay $25k to have my accountant do some google searches.

As with most things, it will be better to do things on my own. I just need to gather up all of the things I spent bitcoins on in the past few years and calculate things out. Might be tedious work but best to get it over with. Pay ISIS some money (through the US govt) and move on to doing things smarter next year.

Whoah whoah whoah you get 0.09 BTC per share of GBTC.  That’s fucking broken. Oh my god please tell me my math is wrong. That’s an implied value of something like $200k BTC.

As of about 5 years ago the going rate for fabrication of a financial past to move the wealth of Humboldt marijuana cultivators into the system economy was only $10K.  That is for a fully forged history of economic activity.

Tell this lady to pound sand.

Its funny how during rallies every small or medium sale gets more reaction than the buys.

Hahahahahahaha...

I don't see what is so obvious about shorting  - and seems like some shorters are (unwittingly) preparing to get r3kt....
Inb4 institutional shorters get screwed and tax payers end up bailing them out against their will again.

I’m all for that if it’s us taking their money.
