It's a nightmare for everyone but the most avid of photographers.

Normally one would use long exposure times, using nd1000 grey filters, which makes everything that is moving disappear on the photo.
Like magic, but not suitable for everything (empty airports, parking spaces... ).

Here's the memorable reaction to the Silk Road bust October 2, that kickstarted the second bubble of 2013:

Is anybody able to set up a ChartBuddy style, automated price posting bot detailing the volume?

I do miss that, I dunno why.

[snip]not just some random woman violating cultural decency.
[snip]
Yeah Anne Frank and Harriet Tubman weren't exactly violating "cultural decency"
Anne Frank was violating the Nazi murder machine and Harriet Tubman was violating slavery.

On a different note
Guys and gals, I'm in Istanbul and it turns out bitcointalk is blocked in Turkey.  I'm using a vpn, obviously.
Which brings me to ask you crypto enthusiasts posting from around the world, which countries block this forum?
Inquiring minds want to know.
So, they were in fact violating the cultural decency at the time. What is your point?
I think I'm going to be sick...

As a lot of Trumptards ignorant fools in the good ole USA take these clowns' words as the gospel, small wonder we are where we are today.

I shouldn't have watched that... these people... I have no words

The same mentality as bcashers; living in fantasy land

I don’t think you have a point. I used BCH to transfer hundreds of dollars of value to Bruno recently, to assist with his funeral arrangements. Does that sound like ‘fantasy land’ to you?

Freakin idiot.

Oh Brother.

Really breher... really??

Take things out of context to apply them to you personally much?

I know Bruno never had qualms with bcash and thought Roger Ver was an OK guy. But invoking him to make a point here is unnecessary.

Oh brother.

Really, nutildah... Really ?

WTF Do talking heads blabbing about the effects of covid have to do with BCH?

Nothing, that’s what.

Stupid non-sequitur is stupid, and deserving of having its stupidity ridiculed.

Seems a bit of bullshit for you to be trying to pump up bcash variants in this thread on a regular basis, jbreher.

If there is any way to make an analogy to point out any variant of bcash or any other shitcoins as the shitcoins that they are, then that is completely on topic in this thread.

There seems to be no reason here, to be pumping up any shitcoins, whether bcash or otherwise, just like nutildah already asserted:

Surprised you haven't yet noticed a persistent theme in this thread involving the derogation of bcash.

It is always OK here, if not welcomed. Its one of the things we do, and that defines WO culture.

Sorry to hear that. Guess the crisis actor thing is fake, who knew?

In other news, looks like the Trump Administration (I'd say the US Govt but it's really just Trump and his crap) is lying once again and under counting COVID deaths.

(See WaPo. They have screwed up links right now)

Will be interesting to see if they can keep these people off the "dead" roles long enough to vote R in November. After all I'm sure that is what they would have wanted.
One could of course speculate on how a Hillary administration would have handled things.

Bitcoin (BTC) Price to Target $1,000,000 After COVID-19 and Analyst Explains Why

https://u.today/bitcoin-btc-price-to-target-1000000-after-covid-19-and-analyst-explains-why

Quote
Lots of people think that Bitcoin’s total addressable market is ~$7T because that’s the marketcap of gold.

Problem is, with so much #brrr going on gold can easily triple from here.

So the digital gold thesis now puts Bitcoin’s TAM at ~$20T, or $1M per coin...

https://twitter.com/QWQiao/status/1246672665210949633

Why not? I can perfectly believe it, if in 2019 someone had told me that a motherfucker virus would kill and paralyze the world, they would not have believed it either.

please MODs of bitcointalk.org have mercy with me. free my bot account "Gyrsur_Bot" for future automated posting like this post below. thank you very much!

   Bitstamp    6795.00 USD
(source: Bitstamp API)

this is an automated post but unfortunately I'm not able to post it via my bot account Gyrsur_Bot because of restrictions.

From the notice, it seems to me that you have to pay the evil units fee... which is around $30... Also from the notice, it appeared that if you try to get the account whitelisted, you will likely get the account permanently banned.

More importantly gold is not some magical material blessed by the gods. It's just a thing, no reason to use it as a cap.

And as always, we consider the price in the current dollar value. The brrr is not even relevant.

I've been reading of many departures, here and elsewhere. Closest people, or more distant. I've lost two friends myself, not in the inner circle but in next one further out. I've felt my share of pain and seen much worse in friends and family. What can my condelences add?

One of my relatives (41 years of age) just died in New York of COVID19.

Sorry to hear about your loss Raja!

I must admit that, at the early stages of the Coronavirus crisis, when it was seemingly a China-only issue, I was a bit reluctant to believe that it would spread all over the world as rapidly as it did. Lesson learnt: always prepare for the worst-case scenario.

Stay safe, we'll win this, but not without casualties, it seems...
