I dont care about the merits but I want to like a post, show the poster how I really appreciate his answer or the information the provided for me.
In addition to leaving them a reply saying "I really appreciate your answer," you could always link the post in this thread and if someone else with a merit to spare finds it worthy, they will merit it on your behalf. So, your first option feels like spamming the thread for me, if there is nothing else to say/state. I said that because it feels like you are hunting for merits. You already got caught doing this last year here, in addition to doing it on your own local board. Try writing better posts instead of posts about merits? Just a thought. |
