First Mover: Bitcoin’s Back in the Black for 2020Bitcoin traders are used to the mood swings that come with extreme price volatility. They were elated when prices shot up 30 percent in January, the best start to a year since 2013. They were alarmed and unsettled when the spread of the coronavirus sent prices for the oldest and largest cryptocurrency plunging as low as $3,850 in early March from about $10,200 just a month earlier.
Now, volatility is returning in a positive way, prices are going up, and enthusiasm is returning to digital-asset markets. Bitcoin has nearly doubled since hitting the March low, and a 7.8 percent rally on Monday brought the cryptocurrency back into the black for 2020. As of early Tuesday, prices were up 4.25 percent on a year-to-date basis. https://www.coindesk.com/first-mover-bitcoins-back-in-the-black-for-2020

Check out this graph from JP Morgan: This is based partially on the second wave emerging in China. Are we going to keep doing these lockdowns every couple of months until a vaccine arrives? Bitcoin can handle dead cat bounces, society not so much.

^ What happened in 1976 Jimbo, genuinely interested.
Quit my last employee job to travel and play music full-time. Great, congratulations for that decision. My basic motto is: Once they close the coffin over you and you get asked if it was ok, your answer should be a straight and bold "YES!" (yes, I know they don't close it if you're still answering weird questions, still you get the idea). If it is not or only a "Yes, but.." , you have to do these things that it takes to give a straight "YES!" just right now. As an added benefit: No fear from death, because you've done already all you wanted and are enjoying free bonus rounds in the game of life.

These graphs are rendered fairly dubious since that China data is extremely likely extremely skewed to the low end. Part of what you see is data from western/democratic nations being higher numbers simply because they tend to hide less. Even if they are hiding, they hide much less information than China, and in fact I would not be surprised if the USA numbers are inflated as I understand we are making ANY death that a positive COVID diagnosis is part of the COVID death numbers. It is possible that someone could have recently had a simple cold and died of a heart attack, and that number gets thrown in...

Yeah, I think each hospital, city, county and state in the US is motivated to report the highest number possible now that the flood gates are open for government assistance.

Will a public address be considered valid by the Bitcoin network if the last character is left out? Seems FUD. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address The probability that a mistyped address is accepted as being valid is 1 in 232, that is, approximately 1 in 4.29 billion.

Seems FUD. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address The probability that a mistyped address is accepted as being valid is 1 in 232, that is, approximately 1 in 4.29 billion. I don't think any wallet would accept that as a valid address. The 1 in 4.29 billion you're talking about is assuming you have the right number of characters for that address format. The last 4 bytes are a checksum. If you mistype, there is a 1 in 4.29 billion chance the checksum might still be valid.

That said, me understanding little to nothing about that math thing behind BTC, visually confirms addresses (i.e. after copy-pasting) by comparing the first and the last four characters.

Even tho the distractions keep piling on..I will (try and)remain steadfast and will (attempt to)continue my duties atop the Wall.. ----- we will start off the day with a look at some upcoming charts.. The significance of this is, if interpreted as like a sign from the universe or whatever you believe in, is that 22 divided by 7 equals 3.14.
3.14 is of course the number of the circle, a sacred constant number in our universe that is objectively a Godly number in itself.
Everything in space rounds out to become circular with the nature of gravity, so the ratio for the circle, Pi, just seems like a sign of positivity and innate functionality.
Pi is ratio of a circle's circumference in relation to its diameter, a mathematical constant that magically appears out of the equation 22 divided by 7.
It's such an unlikely thing that the number of the circle could be found in that simple division, it reads as an advanced symbol of "everything will be okay" from the universe, when the Lunar cycle repeats it twice. --------------------- Hold the press...there seems to be some issues with our copy...please stand by...we will return to your regularly scheduled programming as soon as possible.. #btfd's

the noon wall report at 11:20am Bitcoin continues to look bullish imho and is currently trading above $7.3k as the market starts to signal for consolidation. Persistent buying continues to offset moderate selling as indicators search for a more relaxed state. #dyor 1h 4h #stronghands
