Inauguration.
Corn usually goes crazy after inauguration.
Interesting idea. But if there was ever a screwball outlier year... lol.

I've just bought a new monitor at Newegg.com, and paid with Bitcoin. Payment went thru smooth and fast. Much better than using my local (Argentine) credit card, asking for authorization for a payment abroad, and informing my unfriendly gov about any usd movements. The only drawback is that i spent my precious hodled satoshis. Now a frenetic bullrun will surely begin.. This is going to be the more expensive monitor ever (0.07 BTC for the records). The monitor (bought with btc @9300) got delivered yesterday. From Newegg to Argentina in 5 days, even with covid. I cant be happier with this gadget. Meanwhile the honey badger did its thing... I told you so.

The good thing is that it's not Barting...
Downward pressure is quickly counteracted by pampenings...
Soon the last remaining barriers will fall and the bull will be unleashed.
$20k by Xmas? *drools*
Slightly possible. But I sincerely hope it doesn't go to attack the 2017 ATH until 2021. It will be better in the long run that way. Fuck FOMO. Or just give me a quick ATH FOMO peak in August 2020 so we can work towards $100k the rest of 2020-2021 without the bull shit

I said 13-13.5. We'll see how she goes
Only less than 4 days for the close of the poll timeline.. and several of you guys are subscribing to a kind of "the trend is your friend" BTC price theory for the upcoming days. Whoazza I won't complain if a MOAR bullish than expected BTC price performance situation plays out... And, I already mentioned, a couple of times, I believe, that I am not personally going to be inspired with confidence about 4 digits being in our BTC price history (or in our rearview mirror) unless we get above our June 2019 high of $13,880. I made my call based on that ~$13,800 resistance. I'm guessing we'll bounce lower off that by Friday.

You know shit's happening when you check the board and there are 10 pages of new posts since you went to sleep, lol.
heh yeah. i dont regularly check the price (maybe once a week or even less); i have laddered sells and buys set and let it run on autopilot for the most part. but when in the space of like 6 hours there were 8 new pages in the WO i fired up a tab to my exchanges. it was an enjoyable experience. and now a tab is always open on my main exchange, havent done that for a while. in someones words: "weeeeeeee!" Do you have a bot to make new orders once you had some that have been executed ?

I've been browsing through my e-mail history today. You old-timers sometimes mention stupid shit you bought through out the years with bitcoin. Here is my contribution. This is dated back in 2013 when bitcoin was traded roughly around $80. Shit, look at that shipping + insurance fee. That is 1.12 btc alone. No regrets though. That's one of the things bitcoin was designed to do -- buying or transferring money internationally without any bank or other 3rd party involved.

I feel like 11 needs some reinforcement. Indeed. I'm buying the whole way up. Keep stacking. A decent number of coins have move to the sell side book and yet we are holding 11k. Hopefully we run to 11.5+k by EOD.

Well hey, at least you're up on that 1/2 oz gold eagle, right? This will make you feel better: Bought a used truck many many years ago for $5K in btc, it would now be worth > $150K.

I sold that gold coin last year when I was travelling in Thailand. I was short of fiat, but didn't want to dip into my btc stack more than necessarily.

Light pullback looks pretty standard and possibly wrapping up. You know I actually think I am internally trying to spin the lowish volume on this rise into a positive thing. I mean, we want this sort of actual to be supported by volume... but I have been thinking. Exchanges BTC levels are low. Miners might be running low in salable stock. Grayscale has bought up all the outstanding stock and more. I think what we are seeing is the inevitable post halving pressure really starting to kick in. So, considering that what do you guys think is gonna happen once we get even a whiff of fomo happening? This is why the volume is not really a negative in my opinion... maybe rationalization, but I don't think so...

Do you have a bot to make new orders once you had some that have been executed ? nope. the WO thread gives a heads up on big moves and i do check my fills and such when im checking the price. ill then redo the ladders if needed. but its a pretty good range with some set to pop on wild moves up or down as well as the more "normal" intervals. i dont trust bots. (apologies to JJG)

Thanks for posting this, makes me feel better to have peers in that sort of thing. We did what we did, and it brought us all to the place we are at now. Nothing like drying yourself with a thousand dollar towel :-) Down the road a bit I might trade a bitcoin for a Lambo, but then I'm sure I will be kicking myself about it in a year or two :-)

Bought a used KNC Titan in 2016 that is long recycled now (I kept the fans and the power supply though) for 5.4 BTC. Not my best decision in hindsight, but also not my worst Admittedly it made me a few coins (coins that may not be named here but are good for paying hookers according to lightfoot).
