My 2c on timing:

At first, i was thinking that we will go through a regular cycle ending in late 2021.
However, I now think that this cycle would happen faster (at least initially). Maybe there will be a double-hump, but I will talk first about the initial phase.
facts:
1. We already "printed" 3.2-3.4 tril in US, maybe another 1-3 tril will be coming shortly.
2. Stock market was goosed and high beta stocks are outperforming
3. Gold is on a tear and $ declined a bit
4. many political factors are coming into play as well: fear of the 'other" side in US before the election.

To me all this indicates that we are right now not in 2016 equivalent (as we should be in relation to halving), but in the summer 2017-equivalent cycle-wise.
Therefore, it is entirely possible that we tear up to $70-100K with a local peak at anywhere between Nov 2020-Jan 2021.
This scenario would suggest a sharp correction to, say, $30-40K during spring-early summer of 2021, then another climb to potentially ultimate peak in late 2021 at $150-300K.

Something like this (please forgive my low skills in trading view):

I like it, Winkelvoss are saying something similar.  I didn't want to say it but, maybe it is different this time!  Shocked
Quote
The next Bitcoin bull run will be dramatically different. Today, there’s exponentially more capital, human capital, infrastructure, and high-quality projects than in 2017. Not to mention the very real specter of inflation that all fiat regimes face going forward. Buckle up!

I linked you guys this kid before, congrats to him it was fun watching him luckbox the night into a bracelet.

He should stick to tourneys as they are a good percentage luck.

"From early position I am like 40%"

 Roll Eyes

.

The entire thing is a h00t (its long though).

Anyone can win a bracelet apparently!

But it was fun to watch him get saved by one card miracles and runner runners.

Still my very favorite was him saying "We improved to an OESD" when the river hit in that other video

ROTFLMAO, yeah THAT was classic!

The kids been playing for 2 years now and just caught a massive miracle.

What he doesn't know and will find out the hard way is that it was a miracle and now he will go decades all downhill wondering why he can't score like that again.

These tournaments are horrible, they teach luckbox play.

It turns my stomach to see one of them hit a one outer for a million and run around getting high fives for being saved after making a horrible move.

Looks like LFC is the first to get the rusty pipe for offending normaltons and turning them off. His behaviour is costing all of YOU money.

He'll have to do it to himself and post it as we're all very busy and important people here.

We’re going to eat the 2021 bull run noobs alive.
Imagine seeing posts like, ’fuck, I’m stoked, just reached 0.1BTC. My ultimate dream is a whole BTC

I think we’ll all realise how early we were when the new wave of adoption comes here next year.

The noobs will get their first BTC lesson after we dump on them at $200K

PUMP

This is song made by a Croatian guy called CUBI and it is all about PUMPING in different languages and I use it often related to BTC even though it is about different kind of "pumping"  Grin

It is my personal BTC PUMP anthem! So sharing it here with you, now when it is appropriate  Grin

I don't exactly consider that video, or even the song, as very inspirational, but I did watch the whole thing... ... so merit for the introduction and cross -reference of a little bit of cultural variation.. and I suppose if I were to listen to that song enough times, I may even end up catching a bit of an earworm from such a song.. .so I see why you mentioned it... which might not be an outcome that I would appreciate..  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Perhaps, you have not been able to get your coins back yet, VB1001, from your sale from several months ago?

Probably, the newbies are going to blame LFC for all of it, when they really should be blaming jbreher.

Not, even knowing that jbreher is amongst our MOST favorite of punching bags (even though jbreher had not had a day named after himself, yet).   hahahahahahaha

Bigger pumps in 2021 !

it is just started, 2021 should be 2017 in this cycle, so next year should bring more gains for BTC, but one should be prepared for that, it will be too late to get in at that moment, i presume, if that moment comes in the middle of 2021

Why? It'd just be another cycle. Plan to hold for 4 years from whenever you buy.

At minimum.... absent exercising discretion thereafter.    Wink

my fellow bitcoin lunatics,

please note that the monthly price candle is closing in 48 hours. if it closes here it would be the 3rd highest monthly close in bitcoins price history.

if this isn't bullish af I don't know what to tell you.

Roger. LFG.

August 2020 better be the highest EOM close ever.

You might be rushing it a bit there, bad boy.   Wink

So if I can get this straight, it is either bullish as fuck or bullish as all buggery? Both are fine by me, just wondering.

Bullish AF, sadly we lost our coins in a boating accident in September but we can still cheer the price on from the sidelines Wink

You must be referring to the "royal we"?

I already ordered my hookers, lambos and blow..... .. waiting for delivery...

Just saying.

 Tongue Tongue Tongue

Don't get me wrong, i'm fucking excited about the pump(s), too  Cool

...but...
has anyone thought about all the pumps we had below $10k that were followed by dumps right before BTC futures expiration dates?
however, for 31st of july it's $9.5k at CME.

I wouldn't be too surprised if BTC drops sub $10k in the next 48 hours or so.
Would we get anything from it, if it will happen?
Yes: We would have been provided with good certainty that BTC is highly manipulated by futures.

So, just to make it clear: I don't hope so, but it's in the back of my mind after huge pumps just before expiration dates.
I sometimes catch myself browsing for the expiry dates after a big pump.

#justhodl

I am calling right now to cancel my several orders.. referred to in my earlier response... and my lil selfie is in HODL MODL right now... Angry

True

Well that sucks.

You can only do what you can do... so just hoping the best to you in terms of whatever amount of DCA that you are able to reasonably employ in the coming years and that you have a long timeline (life) in front of you to make sure to be able to ensure profit in terms of the hookers, lambos and blow that would follow with a long enough investment time horizon... seems to me.

If you thought holding was hard over the past few years, just wait until the #Bitcoin  price is ascending relentlessly, instigating you to sell down your stack.

*Develop a strategy now and do not deviate*

Strong-handedness is more critical in bull markets than bear markets.
