Four consecutive quarters with Bitcoin price growth. That happened only two times in past. 2012 and 2017.

ok, now let's repeat Q2 2011  Grin

So 5 uppity quarters from 2016 and all of 2017

so how about 8 upppity quarters from 2020 and all of 2021 and 1st quarter 2022

Would be interesting, but what are the odds of 8 quarters of positive?  Odds could not be very high, right?

A short bitcoin success story:

I just submitted my last time sheet.  Officially Retired at age 50.

Mined my first coin in 2011....

Sold enough and diversified so that I can ride out the next crash (and buy the dip of course).

HODLing a even more ...

and coming to realize, we are in fact, gentleman.

Regards all....

Sigg.

Interesting sigg.. I think a lot of folks would be interested in some of your details, such as whether you have some kind of medical contingency, which seems to be a pretty big hesitancy of many people.  Also, have you projected your income (the part that you live off) to maintain you at pretty much the same level or do you have various stages that you expect to make readjustments based on what you believe to be changes to your future ability to assure income at certain levels - of course accounting for bitcoin volatility and inflation which some of those might not be completely known - even though ballpark estimates can be made.

Welcome to the club.

The only advice I can give is...every project I have invested in since I retired would have done so much better if I'd just kept it in bitcoin.

Gosh.  One thing is having other investments, but another thing would be going into active involvement in some other businesses (that is framed as an investment), even buying houses to rent can sometimes end up causing a lot of work rather than just a stream of passive income.  So one of the questions with having a bitcoin investment does involve considering what other investments a person might have and which ones might be drawn upon first for income, or can a person pull the fuck you lever and then already be assured that the bitcoin investment amount is enough to maintain the standard of living accounting for inflation etc and likely inevitable bitcoin volatility.

I would think the eight positive quarter wish is possible in this run.

I think this run will be long and slow due to the covid 19 money printing combined with the chip shortage.

Both are world wide issues. It may simply lower the rate of gain to the elusive top and at the same time lenghten the time it takes to top out. So why not have an eight quarter or two year run.
We could do it as for the odds I have no  idea.

I "retired" (i.e. stopped being an employee) in my 20s.

It's indeed all about doing what you like.

The stress of disrupting your lifelong routine is what kills people. Get that crap over with while you're still young.

I'm pseudo-retired and never been busier. I think for a lot of people, they are their job and when that's gone, so are they. I could do with another 5 hours in the day for all the things I want to do.

Congratulations. Welcome to the club.

Keep on rockin' in the free world.

Love Neil Young, Jimbo. I have a 1974 Japanese Les Paul (one of the Lawsuit Guitars) set up pretty much like Neil's 'Old Black'. I also have real Les Pauls, but I love Blackie. Mine doesn't have the Bigsby tailpiece, but it has some other unique things.

I showed it to Joe Bonamassa, he signed the pickguard and pronounced it "cool shit". I was hoping he would make an offer.

That's a big part of it.

Retirement isn't sitting around doing nothing. Its having the time to do what you want and not having anyone telling you what to do.

I don't play music to pay the bills anymore. I play music to have fun.

Amazing story.... that’s in fact a guide for everyone if you don’t want to retire poor

1. Sold enough
2. diversified
3. buy the dip
4. HODLing

You can repeat above 4 steps as per you need and demands. Got some extra cash go ahead and buy again. Need some urgent money it’s ok to sale some and take the profit.

The hopefully last corrective lil dip before leaving $60k behind?
Regardless, short time support is moving upwards in an almost linear manner for weeks now, it should be crossing $60k somewhere bewteen Apr 5th and 6th.
Easter weekend. Have a nice one!

How they try to free that ship in the Suez Canal.

This MAY be the best gif ever.

Eh, what was all the drama about that ship blocking the suez canal anyway? Can't be arsed to look it up.

It’s interesting to read since it’s from 2011 and in 10 years Bitcoin is already being traded all over the world. But Bitcoin is not going to replace any country’s economy for sure. Bitcoin is a store of value not a type of cash to replace daily transactions like if you buy a coffee you wont be using Bitcoin. That’s why I read many people here on WO said buying a Tesla with Bitcoin today would be same as buying pizza with Bitcoins. When you use Bitcoin to buy Tesla in reality it’s Elon Musk who’s buying Bitcoin with Tesla.

I think the BTC price is about to pamp in the next few days.

It's like a penis and ballsack that have been edged for days ready to explode.

Alts can only go up for so long till half/most of that money will flow back into BTC as we have seen constantly.

I suspect much of these alt increases are caused by traders trying to increase their BTC stacks by riding "the clever" trade waves.
Those entering those trades late (as 20-40% increases look appealing right?) will lose out big time.

HODL.

It was destined to stuck, because ship’s name was “Ever Given” but they choose to wrote on the ship in huge block letters “EVERGREEN” instead.

Any way here’s is some good explanation to overall drama...
