I was an active member of this forum back in 2013, unfortunately, my original account was compromised and banned years ago. I never really saw the need to create a new account, as I’ve always been more of an observer than a writer. That being said, I’ve been visiting this thread almost every week for years. It’s been, for the most part, my sole source of Bitcoin news—and, most importantly, hopium!

With $100k so close, I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on this thread for your unwavering optimism and dedication over the years. It’s been incredibly inspiring to see how many of you have stayed committed through the highs and lows, continuing to believe in Bitcoins vision and potential. Without this thread and the positivity here, I probably wouldn’t still hold the corn I do now.

Thank you all for keeping the fire alive. Here’s to many more milestones for Bitcoin!

PS Bring on 100k!!!

If you have valid proof that the account belongs to you, you can try to get it back. Everything you need is at this link.

Recovering hacked/lost accounts

This saved my account a few years back.
My account was hacked but I was able to retrieve it by being able to prove it was mine through a signature derived from a BTC address I controlled.
Which reminds me, can someone quote this message as I have migrated my BTC to a new wallet and, although I still have access to my old wallets its just more convenient that I post this new address.

Wasn't Goat the one that got arrested for stealing the 50k-ish silk road coins and he pretty much gave them to uncle sam in a trade for a relatively light sentence?

I thought that was Loaded.

Anyone here still cares about technology? Cheesy
Yes I'm still very much interested in technology because without it I think Bitcoin wouldn't be in existence in the first place, aside the valuable part of Bitcoin I'm in it for the technology, Technology is the backbone of Bitcoin, Technology plays a vital role in Bitcoin world.

Bitcoin Miner Marathon Digital Raises $1B to Buy More BTC.

Marathon Digital Raises $1 Billion as it Looks to Buy More Bitcoin
It has proven to be a game-changing month for Bitcoin. Although 2024 had already been one for the history books, the leading cryptocurrency has continued to set landmark records in consecutive weeks. Just this week, the token set two all-time highs, culminating in a $98,000 price on Wednesday.

That has led to increased interest from companies as they look to gain exposure to the asset. Amid the success of MicroStrategy’s (MSTR) Bitcoin accumulation plan, there are many who are following suit. Among them is Bitcoin miner Marathon Digital, which has raised $1 billion to buy more BTC.

here we go, it seems like everyone is already looking at the $100k price coming up.

NEW YORK (AP) — Bitcoin topped $98,000 for the first time Thursday, extending a streak of almost daily all-time highs since the U.S. presidential election. The cryptocurrency has rocketed more than 40% in just two weeks.

Now, bitcoin is at the doorstep of $100,000 and investors do not appear to be phased by gravity or any cautionary tales of the cryptocurrencies history of volatility.

If this post-election pump is anything to go by, then it’s safe to expect the momentum to keep rolling, at least until Trump officially takes office.

Well logically Trump can’t pass a law until Jan 21 or maybe Jan 20.

Thus bitcoin should be safe for the next sixty days.

Now we all know btc does as btc pleases.

so a retrace to 60k or a spike to 150k could happen in the next sixty days. but if force to guess 60k or 150k in the next 60 days As jjg would give a percent i would guess 80% we hit 150k and 20% we hit 60k by Jan 21 2025.
