Wasn't Goat the one that got arrested for stealing the 50k-ish silk road coins and he pretty much gave them to uncle sam in a trade for a relatively light sentence?

I thought that was Loaded.

yes. same memory here

Confirmed.

Loaded aka Jimmy Zhong: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Zhong

GOAT was the Lambo guy: https://www.lamborghini-talk.com/threads/i-bought-my-gallardo-with-bitcoin.61298/

Great docu telling of the Loaded story… I remember him posting here on the WO years ago…

Vicious...

Kraken always sucked with its slow trading engine, but imo Powell has consistently showed good intentions and correct view points.

Because of him I have been confident enough to entrust Kraken with almost 0.8% of my stash, which I might sell this cycle  Wink

Judging by Glassnode's Combined Orderbook chart, there is a lot to stem for the bulls to go over $100k.
Indeed, it doesn't seem they run out of steam anytime soon. We're about half way there.
The good thing is, every buyer gets Bitcoin at a quasi-fixed price for the next few thousand coins. I'd call this a bargain, considered how early we still are.

I would proudly buy for 100k just for the lulz of having bought at that price... Unfortunately (or fortunately) I have no fiat on any exchange. To be honest, I don't have much fiat anyways  Grin

btc chart is a scaredy cat...i wonder if it touches 100, what is next, 90 or 105-110?
I always think...90, but data usually say 105 or 110.

You forgot the part where he willingly tried to hire a hitman (who was an undercover agent) to kill someone.

Never entered into evidence.

It was entered into evidence, the charge was dropped in 2018.

OK, Entered into evidence, then dismissed WITH PREJUDICE. Wonder why a prosecutor would engage in such a tactic?

You are a party poop.

Personally I expect there to be at least one ATH higher in 2025 that is higher than the ATH of 2024, and it would be worthy of a bet for anyone, including uie-pooie who might be ready, wiling and able to take such bet (with reasonable counter-proposals and clarifications that don't break the sentiment of the above idea, including a likely need for escrow.

Are you game?arrested for stealing the 50k-ish silk road coins and he pretty much gave them to uncle sam in a trade for a relatively light sentence?

This, but I'll offer 2.2x and up to a 0.1 BTC bet from the naysayer; I'm tired of my stack being unproductive (need more BTC!). Escrow of course because I have a newbie account so no one will trust it.

Are you offering to bet me or janggernaut?

In acknowledging your newbie status, you likely have a greater obligation to make sure you explain or clarify so that the bet terms could be clear - at least to the two parties entering the bet, and then figuring out if someone escrow and how much that might cost...or maybe escrow could be done for free.. or at a very low price.. .. perhaps?

JayJuanGee is still mad at me after i stomped him with bearish nonsense messing up his beloved spreadsheet. Cheesy

Retract your earlier statements all you like.

It seems that any spreadsheets that I might make would not be affected by various BTC price sentiment comments in the forum or this thread or even from someone so convincing as uie-pooie, if you are suggesting that I might change something like my BTC buy/sell orders in accordance with your comments or the comments of other forum members ..

and in your case, comments that I did not find very persuasive, such as several of your earlier ones that seemed to fairly strongly imply that you had sold too many cornz too early.. ..

You should recognize/appreciate that selling too many cornz too early is quite a common repeated occurrence in these here parts..

JayJuanGee is still mad at me after i stomped him with bearish nonsense messing up his beloved spreadsheet. Cheesy
I have to admit

you where bearish when bearish was justified
you are started being bullish when it was all beginning

I hope you have seen I always respected your postings (have to be honest, I didn't liked your bear posts, but they were reasonable at the times of posting)

you have been the most accurate poster on the WO the whole of this cycle imo.
hats of sir

Accurate...

Oh gawd..    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  I am about to vomit.  #nohomo

[...]
Insane how fast we’re rising. This has got to be a top right? Holy shnike.
Yes, but it's a local top. IOW, there's no top! Cheesy

Dusting my laser beam hat. This will be fun.
Price discovery mode can sometimes have these kinds of infinite up kinds of feelings, and after a while it can start to get scary in regards to why there appears to hardly be any resistance, in spite of the appearance of likely either sufficiently fake sell walls or sell walls that just don't amount to enough to stop the UPpity..
$100k won't be easy to cross. I can't remember seeing a larger and more intimidating wall in a ChartBuddy post.

But we all know that any wall eventually falls. Just add a digit, rinse & repeat.

I hope it happens in 2024.

I think that you are overly pessimistic.. buy hey, I am responding to your post nearly 24 hours after you posted it.**

It is almost like you believe the walls are real...  Tongue Tongue

sucks to be you.  (not that I believe you are trying to trade this range)

hahahahahha

**By the way, already yesterday, I was strating to sense getting to $100k within a pretty short period is nearly inevitable .. once we broke from lower $90ks to upper $90ks without much hesitation... so this is feeling similar to our breaking of $10k.. which you may remember how that went.. Huh? you were still pretty new then.. so maybe it is not feeling the same for you..and yeah, of course, none of the times are exactly the same, just similar in various kinds of difficult to pinpoint ways.
