I sang this in the shower this morning after reading that (still rumored) news (not making this up).

If Trump has his way he will annex Canada and all the way south to and including the Panama Canal.

In turn for China and Russia looking the other way he will butt out of all Asian and European affairs.

Should be an unholy mess.

I am assuming that is a posturing tactic he is using in both of those cases (ala "little rocketman").  But who knows with Trump?

And the oil/minerals/strategic location bits are very very compelling...

I find myself wondering if this is also something to do with Russia basically trying to do the same thing in Ukraine for years now, with the west pushing back unto WWIII. 

So we suddenly start talking about taking Greenland and Canada and parts of SA...  I know many see Trump as dumb (which is a terrible error) or difficult (which I agree with)... but he IS known to do a little 3d chess type stuff.  I find it fascinating that he is just firing away already and has been since last year lol.  Interesting times.

I guess it will recover in several hours. Too much buying pressure for the bears to achieve anything more significant than a few hours 3% dip. The next incoming target is 150K and only a black swan event can delay it further this year.

well if you want to think east vs west will not end.

The concept of panama to canada/greenland under one flag as the west makes military sense.

Russia/ China rule Eurasia and africa south  america australia/ new zealand. As “free” areas could happen.

The central-north America area would be right wing quasi dictatorship.
eurasia group would be right wing quasi dictatorships.

the other areas would be the free for all countires

I could see trump putin and xinping ( is that his name). talking this idea over.
