why do i feel like a food fight will happen any second now
Do you want some brisket? All the extra OP_RETURN space is making me hungry. With all that extra space you could throw ASCII images of brisket at each other on the blockchain. Just what I always wanted to use Bitcoin for! That got me thinking. We could exchange ASCII images of cash bills, now that would be a real peer-to-peer cash protocol. Let's do it! Afterwards we can celebrate with the brisket. On a side note… I’m becoming addicted to brisket. I’ve never really gravitated to it before but after a few years of eating pulled pork everything, I feel like brisket is the next step for me.
I've eaten plenty of things around the whole world, but a secret recipe brisket is definitely one of the best.

The positions are mostly extremely opposite. Those that argue against it are saying that something really bad will happen, whether from the legal side or from spam. Those that argue in favor of it are saying nothing has changed and nothing will change. A subtle increase in spam would be "nothing happening". A major non-frivolous lawsuit or attempt to go after Bitcoin for this kind of data would be something big happening, or perhaps some unforeseen issues technical issues from a lot of OP_RETURN (doubtful).
Having been a betting man from time to time in my life, (in fact, placing bets is how I earned the majority of the Bitcoin I hold.) I can tell you that if you guys really mean for this to be a meaningful bet, you have to set very clear parameters for what is a win and what is a loss. Proposition bets without parameters end up in the arguments about, well, that's not what I meant, or that's not what I think it was, or you didn't this or that, whatever./// Even reading this shitheads quotes is irritating, his arguments are all logical fallacies. Calling a lawsuit on manipulation of a market an attack on the market itself is disingenuous at best and straight up red herring logical fallacy. This guy uses nothing but fallacies in his arguments and that's why he's not worth engaging with, it was apparent from his initial insertion into this thread. I wonder what brought him here? It certainly has not been because he follows this thread, I think he stalks certain individuals (JJG's wording here) to make Brownie points. I also took a look at his history and to a uneducated individual he probably looks like he knows his shit when its apparent he knows jack about security and doesn't even know how to correctly handle userspace. Stating that holding market manipulation tactics accountable is an attack on that market itself is so blatantly obvious that his ass is hanging out to the point no-one with a shred of critical thinking cannot see it. So apparently according to this nub disagreeing on a protocol is now attacking the project itself? Lol what a joke, this guy is a paid shill that's playing from a cheat sheet of fallacies and any critical thinker can spot it immediately.

I've eaten plenty of things around the whole world, but a secret recipe brisket is definitely one of the best. 12 hours at 222f with 1 cup of pure water in the pan cover the pan with heavy grade aluminum. let it steam cook. but the spices no one knows but me. I get my brisket on line. I order five 4.5 lb pieces at a time. pork cooks a bit slower at 222f 14-15 hours not 12.

I don't like the spam but the only real solution would be to change to a protocol like Grin's where the types of transactions are extremely restricted. No Lightning, no sidechains, no contracts, no decentralized swaps
While Grin's lack of scripting makes the transactions very uniform and seemingly very restricted, the magic of script-less scripts still allows Grin to support multisig, threshold sigs, bidirectional payment channels, discrete log contracts, atomic swaps, and more. There are very few things that scripts are really needed for.

I love meat and I love cooking meat and... cattle. Oh my goodness. That's what I love. I love everything from hamburger, which really is brisket most of the time, to filet mignon. The cow is the reason I cannot be a vegetarian. If I had to do away with fish, poultry, pork, all the rest of it, I would survive. As to brisket, well, I do live in an area of the United States where we are famous for our brisket preparations. I've done it several ways, I've even done it in a sous vide. A little bit of liquid smoke (maybe) and good seasoning? Oh my goodness, it's way better than you might think. But smoking is my passion. I am pretty proud of my briskets. They turn out damn good. In fact, I'm about to do one. I'm waiting for a good sale. I would like to say that I was of the purity that I used a stick smoker but I have a really really nice pellet smoker and man it turns out great. I usually stick to the pretty classic rub, salt and pepper. Usually put it on the base of yellow mustard, which doesn't really do anything to the taste. But now then, I'll go off a little little dry chipotle dust or some garlic. In occasionally I'll wet the meat with some olive oil or even butter before giving it the rub. I usually cook around 220F and a full brisket can easily take 15 - 17 hours. My favorite part of the whole thing is watching my family and friends almost go into a trance when they start to eat it.

One other note, I think, I'm not sure, but I think I've only ever had one person on my ignore list here, and less, you know, a few over the years where maybe I would briefly click them off.
I'm having a feeling that that may not be the case for very much longer.

Debate and disagreements about tech around Bitcoin (OP_RETURN). I’ve seen this in the past Whilst it’s a discussion, what are the chances that Luke Dash Jr forks off and I get more free money like the last time this type of saga played out (thanks Roger and Jihan Wu).

Well, tbh, capsie sort of got me under his spell on this initially. That’s because I AM too stupid to understand.I don’t have a node anymore, and can’t really understand the technicals, but knowing capsie and observing Satofan44’s responses - made it crystal clear. a) 29 until further notice. b) will eventually update to any future Bitcoin Core clients. We can stop the debate now. PS: I’m afraid you’re going to lose the bet dear.

Price is not going up, can the devs do something?
#notahaiku
Please 🙏 can we stop encouraging the devs to "do something"? 😁 doing something could always have unforeseen second order effects that weaken or destroy the currently working system

The Sunday Saylor buy announcements are causing a pretty regular end of weekend pump. We’ll probably be back to $112K tomorrow but I hope knot (see what I did there). Maybe something to consider if you are spending BTC on fiat denominated items.
