Hoping his broken hip heals well.

broken hips are no joke. its likely to be a long recovery. make sure he really takes the physical therapy seriously.

What most people perceive as "taunting" is actually early-onset, dementia-associated mouth gaping from acute, neurological decline as a result of that uppercut.  He's only 28 but that mouth gape is likely to be a permanent fixture in his near future.

My aunt broke her hip last year just before Christmas and passed away just after Christmas.  It is a traumatic injury for anyone but especially the elderly.

If I were alone (do not want that)

I would move to a warmer place say us virgin islands and plan to spend down at 6%. Maybe 7%

I would spend the cash then the 401k and leave the btc alone.

The pension would take a hit as my wifes pension would survive to me at 50%

I know how to live cheap if I want.

But For now I will be babysitting my bro in law and watching to see what happens with my friend of about 30 years. Hoping his broken hip heals well.

Phil - How did your friend (in his late 70s I think you said) break his hip? I guess like most broken hips, it was probably by falling.

he has a bent spine so he went to his back doctor for a checkup.

he was on the exam table and went to get off it.

since he has back pain he roll on to his side to prep his legs to spin off and down to the floor.

he over rolled and fell directly onto his hip .

and of course as most doctor offices are the floor is hard.

i will wait til sunday to call him as he is religious and wont answer the phone on a sat.

the new hip is done. so i hope he can recover.

Does he practice Jewish tradition (Shabbat) or is he a Christian, who sometimes believe in resting on the seventh day?

Phil - I can tell you are a good man - portraying strong aspects of integrity.  Smiley

...Man, before I wrote here without using a translator, but then,
I realized that I've been writing some things wrong,
and so I started using translator for almost everything, but I check,
because the translator is not trustworthy,
and sometimes he ends up changing the context of what we are saying,...

and so, by using translator, these AI detector
can understand that I used AI to write,
but I don't use anything, only the translator,
which I think can confuse these detectors that have around,

-Could you, if possible, do a test so I can know, ...
get some of my posts here, and go through these detectors?

if it's not okay, I don't mind  because i talking too much,
as long as I'm not bothering anyone....
And so I think that this kind of request that I'm making to you,
it's a way for you to think that I'm boring,

it's really just a curiosity of mine...
So I don't mind asking if you can do that, can you? No? srrss,
if not, I'm sorry.... if so, thank you...,

in the case, I wrote just now, I used the translator,
and corrected some punctuation errors and such...
Not that it was good, I just reviewed the coherence.

So I live in Howell NJ which is south part of Monmouth county.
He lives in Lakewood NJ which is north part of Ocean county.
The towns share countyline road as a border.

Lakewood NJ is a huge hub of orthodox and ultra orthodox Jews.

Say 125,000 people live there and 85,000 are Jewish.

That would mean 85/125= 67% plus chance he is Jewish he won't pick up the phone today.

So draw a conclusion from that info.

MYSELF I am a lasped Roman Catholic . I stopped after my local church's pastor got a 14 year old pregnant and was taking collection money to support her.

Enough religion. Today along with my mining 0.0011btc which I hold. I purchased 0.001 btc

Hoping to sell more silver on ebay or on bitcointalk so I can continue buying and mining to stack and hold.

I am past 1.1 btc and closing in on 1.2 btc

Maybe I get up to 2.0btc by summer.

https://www.ebay.com/str/philipma1957computergearandmore

If you look at the silver above you can see it is getting views and is yet to  sell.

If you look at my listing on bitcointalk in marketplace you can see it is not getting much interest and is marked down from spot

Of 4900 plus to 4050.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5568505.0

This kind of really shows how much liquidity is a real issue for metals.

NEVER MIND THE SIZE AND WEIGHT JUST SELLING IT IS HARD .

How fast and how many here would buy $ 4900 btc for $ 4050?

Hey Phil, no offense, are these data from the government,
or are they approximate numbers?
because if this data is correct, it is a very different average from other places...
I can say, a very different number, and it may be that it is above the average of the rest...

# Do you have any source of these numbers?

My aunt broke her hip last year just before Christmas and passed away just after Christmas.  It is a traumatic injury for anyone but especially the elderly.

We have an elderly neighbor lady friend (aged 89 - BD is 1936) that broke her hip and she has a titanium rod inserted in her femur for better structure support.  She recovered quickly to walk using a walker in just a matter of a few weeks.

I remember when former PGA Tour Pro Jack Nicklaus had a normal hip replacement and he was walking around in a matter of a few days.

I had a TKR (total knee replacement) and was doing some walking (with a walker) in the halls in the hospital the same day I came out of the fog of anesthesia and I was walking a little without a walker in my neighborhood a few days later - with no pain at all due to time-release pain medication injected in the tissue during the operation.

It's amazing what can be done medically nowadays!
