SO I grabbed more corn today.

SILVER is knocking at the door of 80 and is poised to do it late Sunday night 🌙  when the Asian market opens.

I could list more silver today i would sell as ebay has been wild buying.

Or do I poise and see if the Silver rally continues.

I truly believe the switch of value will flip in Jan or Feb

Ie BTC value > Silver value now will turn to:

SILVER VALUE> BTC value.

I think I will hodl the last of the Silver at my house till Monday morning.

And go to the bank to get the rest of the Silver on Tues.

I plan to be Silver free soon and btc bigger soon.

The thesis is that there are only two possibilities:
1. All previously designed top indicators (my comment-except the number of days passed post halving) are faulty.
2. This was not the top.

I think that the top was not in, but the day passed and a perfect fit with expected plus the diminishing return projected value might suggest otherwise.
Currently, I am 70:30 on this (70%-not yet, 30% -yes, we did hit the top in October).

Alternatively, we are switching to a more stock-market-like cycles with unpredictable ebbs and flows.

JJG - Permission is not necessary. It was taken is a private home, and the photographer has full control over the content.

Even if it was taken in a public setting, streets of NYC, beaches, department stores, country clubs, race tracks, churches, family dinners, golf courses - you don't need permission, especially if no minors are in the image.  

There's only a gazillion images of groups of people posted in all sorts of settings.

  On the third of January it will be a Full Moon, so there are seven days left, seven more days for the price to fill up?, we still don't have a full price, what would be the fullest price for the beginning of the year? 100k would be synonymous with full price, since the number 100 is often compared to one hundred percent....
But for Bitcoin, currently, 125+ would be the full price value...

A belated Merry Christmas wall observers.

Just got back from the hospital where I spent the last half week.

Woke up short of breath on Christmas Eve, checked my pulse oximeter which showed a reading in the 70s, and barely made it into a taxi to the hospital. Almost passed out waiting for triage. Luckily, they quickly blasted me with lots of sweet oxygen. I was formally admitted in the wee hours of Christmas Day after spending the rest of Christmas Eve in emergency.

Luckily my brother and niece dropped by in the mid-afternoon with a pre-sample of the dinner we ended up missing. Good thing too. I hadn't realized just how bad hospital food had become. I remember half a century ago eating in hospital cafeterias because the food was much better than all but the highest-end restaurants.  Not any more. The slop they served was not fit to be dogfood. At least they fed us. In some countries you're expected to supply your own food.

Because the hospital was short-staffed for the holidays, there was no problem with my wife staying overnight even after visiting hours were finished. It made my hospital Christmas much more bearable. Thank gawd for our "socialized" public healthcare. Just show your card upon entry.

my preferences are below

I've even had well done a couple of times but done by professional and their choice of meat but I couldn't remember the cuts it was too long ago. Contrary to many arguments I've seen online, it is pretty tasty when properly done and I think that doneness is even harder to do right than most of the others. Even a slight mistake makes it completely bland and dry, which is what most people experience with it I guess. With others if you make a small mistake it is alright it may just not be what exactly you wanted but it won't ruin it.

In preferences I am basically like you on that picture.  Nothing wrong with any of those. If someone argues about it, it is often because they have nothing better to do..

Hush, hush... Here is the my secret for well done and soft/juicy:

You need high initial heat, clearly you also need a fat that is highly heat resistant, to avoid the enrichment of amines.
First, you do one side of the steak quickly (10-20 seconds) and then turn it around, do one half of it, and then finish the inital side. Set the temperature a little lower after a few seconds. I'd prefer gas under steel plate for its quick response when changing heat and low latencies.
Because you close the pores of the meat quickly on the "open side" first, most of the juices stays inside while roasting it through.
It also depends a lot on the meat, because roasting won't add any juice. The more is in the meat, the less dry it will become well done.

EDIT: You can also round things up for 5-10 minutes in the oven, but with higher temperature compared to what i choose when aiming for a medium rare or rare steak. It doesn't hurt the juicyness, but just smooths things out and helps to get more even results. I'd also start to add herbs here.

I think you mean "socialized insurance" (Canada's single-payer system), not "socialized" public healthcare.

Sounds like maybe you're dealing with some heart-related issues.

Silver is even a dumber investment than gold, especially if there are thoughts of monetary properties.... 

Hopefully, no one is thinking that the current prices or even the recent price moves of silver relative to bitcoin are reflective of longer term values and/or trends in value. Of course, in the short-to-medium term, it can be difficult to figure out relative price moves, even though there likely have been some luring of folks into both silver and gold instead of bitcoin based on more recent price changes.

So you are saying that there is a chance?

Some of the financialization tools are seeming to have affects on the bitcoin price and the BTC price dynamics, and perhaps attempts at dampening upside volatility are meant to bore us to death, to the extent that it continues to be possible to keep prices down. If we continue to be bored to death, then we increasingly lose interest in bitcoin and downside becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, even though surely we seem to be in such early stages of bitcoin adoption, so it is almost like the success of the financial instruments intend to dampen interest.. so instead of killing the golden goose, to try to make it into a less interesting goose.

I am torn.. since bitcoin is a world wide phenomena.. so financialization in the west is meant to discourage world-wide adoption and retail interest.  It does not add up.

Perhaps the next 3 weekstm are criticaltm..... If we get 3 weeks into the new year and we don't spend some time above $100k, I might start to wonder about my bet with LFC.. even though I am not going to give up on it, but the odds of winning are going to go down if the clock continues to tick, yet recovery is not meaningful.

Another thing is end of the year.  If the price could get above $94,380 then the year would be in the green.. and I am not sure if that somewhat random kind of a thing would help any of the sentiments or even any of the momentum.  There is ONLY slightly more than 4 days left for that, even though it is nearly an 8% price increase from our current price (as I type this post).

This particular forum is likely different from random places on the internet.

I know some members are loosey goosey in regards to their own privacy, yet it seems to me to become more problematic to be loosey goosey with the images of individuals who might be connected with you, versus it probably is less problematic if you were taking pictures that happen to capture some random strangers in public places that are not necessarily connected with you absent that they happen to be in the same location as you at a particular time and they were caught in your picture (in public places like in a mall or on the street or in a train car).

Father time?  That is a pretty low reading.

I suppose the Doctors (et al) are working to figure out your diagnosis. Hopefully nothing too serious.

Quickly looking at some pulse oximeter information, I see that even below 92% could be worrisome if it is an accurate reading and not due to measuring device errors... so loss of consciousness and brain damage could start to kick in when in the lower 80%s... so it seems that 70% would have had put you into unconsciousness...and brain dead.. so hopefully that low measurement was due to measurement variability rather than reading an accurate blood/oxygen level.

We are in agreement here that it takes the proper cut of meat and then the right cooking method and skill and that even well done can be juicy and amazing. I've seen a lot of people on the internet fight the well done as being terrible and blame others who prefer this choice. It is quite funny to see after you've had a delicious and juicy well done steak at least once.  Grin

I know a few people that said BTC was risky and that silver is the best investment like 10 years ago, they are not doing so great these days..  Grin If gold is a shitcoin, silver is a shitcoin2.

Sorry to hear about it Jimbo, I hope all is well now, and your oxygen is back to normal, and without assistance. Do check it out, and take measurements from time to time. 70s is dangerously low -- anything below 94% is worrying, and it should not drop below 90% under normal circumstances I think. I can make it go down to 90% if I hold my breath long enough, but that's my limit IIRC.
