Yes, but I suspect the price will zig-zag higher now that it has reached that level...

And before some of you Puritans get all up in arms about what I'm saying, I'm not a big fan of stable coins, but it's inevitable because they are going to need a digital version of the dollar that the US controls for them to be able to keep the dollar on life support for X amount more years

The problem I have with stablecoins is that they're essentially a more complicated version of the Martingale strategy. You can always print more coins to lower price and if you manage things well, you can buy back small price drops but there's always that black swan event that totally fucks things up that's waiting to happen.

But to each their own.

I randomly thought up some speculation today, here is my brain dump

A day or two ago there was whale alert that 2010 era miner moved 2k coins to cb

There in and about Saylor came along with one his largest buys

I wonder did that big buy cause otc challenges and that 2k coin move was part of the funding for Saylor’s otc order. We now have spot moving in general sharp uppity could this be otc desks replenishing their available coin funds or maybe etfs caught behind the eight ball with the sudden rise.

Pure speculation and guessing here, could something like this be plausible?

Agree, but isn't that just exactly the same as all fiat money?  And yeah, the only reason I would ever buy a stable coin is if I had to use it. Which I imagine ends up baked into the system one way or another.

My issue with them is what’s the point, if I buy a stable coin and then use it to buy Btc I immediately have a taxable event vs using fiat to buy btc as a non taxable event.

Yes, these scenarios and schemes don't benefit bitcoiners and they're not meant to. They're going to benefit what's left of the carcass of the US dollar if they can pull it off.
