🚨PRESIDENT TRUMP USES THIS SAME TARIFF PLAYBOOK EVERYTIME TO GET WHAT HE WANTS.

Trump does not use tariffs as trade policy, He uses tariffs as a market control mechanism.

Every major tariff event under Trump follows the same structure. It has nothing to do with economics first. It has everything to do with pressure, timing, and market psychology.

The playbook always starts the same way:

1. Announcement timing is intentional : Trump almost always drops tariff news on late Friday or on weekends. This is done as US markets are closed so price cannot react instantly and the markets take some time to absorb the news.

2. Tariffs are structured with escalation windows : Trump never announces a single final tariff. He announces a first number and then a higher number later.

This happened last week too.

January 18, 2026: Trump announces tariffs on 8 European countries

10% tariffs effective February 1

25% tariffs scheduled for June 1 if no agreement is reached

That creates an immediate shock event but also keeps a negotiation window.

3. The first market reaction is always mechanical : Funds do not “think” during Phase 1. They execute risk protocols.

That means:

Prime brokers raise margin requirements

Volatility models force selling

Risk parity systems reduce exposure

Leverage collapses

Liquidity disappears

This is why moves are violent and fast. Not because fundamentals changed but Because capital structures are being forced to rebalance.

This is exactly what today looked like.

Large caps dropping 10–15% in minutes.
Small and mid caps dropping 30–40%.

4. Bitcoin always sells harder during Phase 1 : Bitcoin is not treated as digital gold during tariff shocks.
It is treated as high beta risk.

Why:

24/7 market

High leverage

Perpetual futures

Thin liquidity during political shocks

So BTC becomes the pressure valve for global risk.

5. After the shock, the narrative phase begins : This is where Treasury officials appear. This is where words like “Negotiations”, “Constructive talks”, “Temporary” and “Not catastrophic” start showing up. Volatility stops to rise. Selling pressure slows and markets remember tariffs take weeks to implement.

6. Then comes the resolution phase : This is where Trump announces delay, reduction, framework, partial agreement or a “historic deal”. Markets rally because uncertainty collapses. This three-phase structure has repeated across:

China tariffs

Mexico tariffs

Canada tariffs

India tariffs

and will probably happen now too. The Greenland situation follows the same template, but with higher geopolitical risk.

This is because:

Europe can retaliate symmetrically

It involves NATO allies

It includes territorial pressure

It overlaps with Supreme Court review of tariff authority

That makes this tariff more unstable, but not structurally different. Now look at today’s crash. Today was not about valuation. Not about earnings. Not about recession data.

It was Phase 1 of the tariff cycle: Shock.

Funds reduced exposure. Liquidity was pulled. Leverage was forced out. Crypto was hit harder because it always is during global risk resets.

So the playbook is simple:

1. Announce aggressively
2. Create fear while markets are closed
3. Let leverage unwind
4. Force negotiation pressure
5. Reframe later as diplomacy
6. Claim victory
7. Markets recover

We just faced the 3rd phase and now entering the 4th phase. In a few weeks, everything will be back to normal and the markets will trade above their pre-dump levels.

~snip~
In a few weeks, everything will be back to normal and the markets will trade above their pre-dump levels.

I have always noticed this trend from a long time. While everyone is crying over how the world is going to end, i found a little piece of wisdom from gemini.

Tariffs are not really a revenue generating scheme, but (as far as I understood from Gemini) an active measure on few corporations that needs them.

We have 500% tariff on gasoline (fuel) here in India, which seems 'Insane  Shocked Shocked Shocked,'

1 Litre (0.26 Gallons) of Petrol (Gas) costs 103.54~ INR (1.25ish USD)

not bad for those who have an untrained eye.

A person makes around 30,000 INR (500 USD) per month on average here. If talking for daily wage work.
A corporate employee's salary starts from 15000 INR.

Oil imports by source country.

Rank    Country                        Import value
1            Russia                                $51.3 billion
2            Iraq                                $28.6 billion
3            Saudi Arabia                $19.3 billion
4            United Arab Emirates      $13.7 billion
5            United States                $5 billion

yeah btc tanked as soon as silver opened so silver received the money with a fast rise from 90 to 93 an oz.

there is a lot of triangular movement with BTC , Silver and Gold .  With both silver and gold rising as BTC and for that matter most crypto dropping since October 2026.

So the play for BTC is dca and hodl.

I am doing dca by selling  off silver and continuing to mine .

SO I stack a bit with purchase of btc and I stack a bit with mining each and every day.

Silver and gold are now up about 18.5 trillion since Jan 1 2025

That money will shift later this year.  If BTC get just 10% of that it goes to about 190k

Get ready

In the spirit of all the UFO conspiracy theories going around,

Would aliens accept our Bitcoin?

they invented it bro

I have three bones to pick with this post and prior information gleaned on catching up via a custom AI LLM I designed myself called Glorf.  Though I am still working on it's ability to do 3D fractal interpolations I am failing at that currently mostly due to a kind of sciatica.

I am not sure I have ever had the pleasure of reading any of your posts before (as it has been an exceeding long time since I have posted here (and I am actually living on an island now as I have become deeply fascinated with a form of sea life which has until now been poorly studied)).  Perhaps ask some of your friends here about me.  I do not have the time to explain who I am.

But my prior AND current work on long-term recursive fractal patterns emitted by high to mid frequency elucidators of entirely alien origin (there are several I am tracking but the main ones are relays that are located BEHIND the moon. (I know this is entirely cliche but it is the truth, and I should know)) continues as long as I can keep up with it, which with my failing health gets harder by the day.  And by 'continues', typed up-paragraph, I mean in full force as it has been all along.  And this gives me the advantage of understanding the goings on  of aliens MUCH better than you ever could.

But this could go without saying.

You simply do not know what you are talking about.

Aliens did NOT invent bitcoin.  And even when you type "they" you do not shine the least light on which RACE of extra terrestrials you are claiming to have done it.

But even though you are wrong, you are close, as a particular trans dimensional alien race MODIFIED the code without anyone knowing since they are able to time-travel.  Or at least perform actions that your normal sized brain can only really relate to as "time travel".

Secondly you are wise to be selling your silver but also a complete fool!  But my problem is I am sure you are incapable of understanding why.  If you were to have studied the works of Martin Armstrong you would know that we have geopolitical forces brewing and so THE POWERS THAT BE™ have been buying it up for some time because of China!!!

But speaking of "brewing", it looks to me like my favourite beloved mentor Martin has been starting to drink those seltzer waters with ethanol in them.  This is a terrible thing to happen at a time like this!  I feel I will need to soon go lie down and rest.

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/armstrong-in-the-media/interview-terrifying-warning-to-gold-silver-buyers/

Damn, man - Don't beat yourself up over it! Consider it as just an exchange of comments, with teasing and jabs, among some friends having a drink together while sitting at a table in a country club bar or sports restaurant having fun and lots of laughs. Surely, you can relate to that!  Don't tell me you can't take a jab, teasing or a joke! Chill out bro!

Something like this:

But in closing:

WHO on earth is this mentally challenged meerkat of a poster?  And WHO is responsible for letting him post here?  This clown should be forced to read "OFFENSIVE INTELLIGENCE: 300 techniques <artificial end of title for reasons to follow>" (that is not the complete title, and I simply do not have the time to type the entire thing.  I believe the mollusks I am here to view are stirring across at the atol!  I will need to don my trunks and swim over to view them.  I am this dedicated to understanding them and doing this heroic journey as many as 14 times a day even with my physical health being as tragic as it is...

My mental health though, as it always has been, and I have elucidated many times up-forum is in tip top shape.

Finally, I must warn that this may be the moment I leave this forum for ever, never to return having retired the other 13 accounts (there was a 14th, but I simply do not have the spare time to explain that) by using a proprietary password thrashing algorythm (that is NOT spelled wrong... that is the original romanization of the Greek dialect it comes from!).  (Most have focused on "shredding" functions.  Fools.  The 324bit "thrashing" algo I have developed is over 113% more efficient.).

But please someone... tell that fool to stop posting pictures of himself.  And teach him the reasons one MUST stay anonymous!

Good day!
Shelby Moore

Quote
January 19, 2026, news outlets are reporting that a Bitcoin "OG" whale, who remained inactive for over a decade, has sold half of their holdings, locking in a 31,250% profit.

The wallet still possesses 2,500 BTC, worth about $237.5 million, which may potentially be the next to hit the market.

The Bitcoin wallet, dubbed “5K BTC OG,” started selling its Bitcoin assets, originally purchased in 2012 for a mere $332 per Bitcoin. The wallet, which initially held 5,000 BTC, has sold 2,500 BTC, raking in approximately $265 million at an average exit price of $106,164.

As per the report by Lookonchain, an additional 500 BTC was moved to Binance, with a value of $47.77 million. This signifies the latest in a series of withdrawals from this 12-year-old holder.

$95k is the new $87k until the next run up? I'll take it.  Cool

good insight
good insight maybe, but bad foresight. I didn't expect that we would be back to the tariff FUD. But the effect is mild compared to what we experienced with the same FUD last year, and only temporary. Tariffs or no tarrifs, Bitcoin is going up eventually and with or without Greenland the future of the EU is not so bright without the US.

It looks to me that this is a move by Trump and Putin to force Europe to choose which country to sacrifice

Ukraine or Greenland.

Europe is stupid as fuck so I am thinking they will abandon Ukraine and pretend to help Greenland

mean while Greenland was under USA rule for a long time and was traded away for the Virgin Islands.

MY guess is Ukraine falls as Europe plays the we want to hold Greenland

and in a few years Greenland is handed off to Trump's USA

next stop Cuba.

Oh what a world we live in.

Still looking for more silver sales they seem stuck a bit on ebay. Even though silver went up bigly today.

I did add more corn. Closing in on 1.4 btc

That would be an interesting outcome, I will try to remember what you said here and try to follow up on it.

The leaders of Europe are delusional, Europe has never been weaker than it is now. And the thing with Greenland is that Trump is actually right, his urgency just is off. Eventually it is going to become either Chinese, Russian or American. There is no doubt about that at all, it is too strategically important. Greenland can't defend itself at all, and Europe can't defend it either they can just delay it.

On the other hand, Cuba does need some freedom and I am sure that the people would welcome it. The country could prosper if it aligned itself with western democracies and international trade. The people there are suffering the same way they are suffering in Venezuela, the poverty is not really imaginable and going on a tourist trip is not enough to understand. Still an intervention may not lead to a better future..

"Trump tells Norway he no longer feels obligation to think only of peace
By John Irish and Nora Buli

2 min read

"By John Irish and Nora Buli

PARIS/OSLO, Jan 19 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump in a written message to Norway's prime minister said he no longer feels obligated "to think purely of Peace" because he had not been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, and he repeated his demand for control of Greenland.

The ‌note, shared widely with other nations by the U.S. administration, was in response to a brief message to Trump from Norway's Prime Minister Jonas ‌Gahr Stoere and Finnish President Alexander Stubb opposing his decision to impose tariffs on European allies over their refusal to let the U.S. take control of Greenland, Stoere said in a statement...."

@bulltheoryio

🚨PRESIDENT TRUMP USES THIS SAME TARIFF PLAYBOOK EVERYTIME TO GET WHAT HE WANTS.

Congrats on being one who actually understand a little of Trump's strategy, although I don't think that represents the entire thing. I truly think he also wants to use tariffs as an income stream to possibly replace taxes.  But chances are, he has shot most of his shot, so to speak, and really only has the rest of this year to do the things that are the highest on his list. The digital dollar will most likely be at the top.

It kind of blows me away that people don't seem to get his playbook, they offer all kinds of convoluted explanations for why he's doing what he's doing and generally missed the point, which actually is central to his playbook.  Or they honestly believe he is a moron, which is a massive mistake. He is a lot of things... that is not one of them.

Mostly, his techniques are "thinking past the sale".  Credits to Scott Adams (RIP) for this.

Scott Adams' explaination is to set the parameters of a "deal" so far beyond what you truly want that when you negotiate back down, you either get exactly what you wanted or even more than you wanted. AKA sales 101. It ain't 4d chess.

Trump uses this plus fairly brilliant psychological tactics on the public en mass to continue to steer towards his goals.

It's so obvious that when you start talking about this, the people listening will always say the same thing. "Of course, he's obviously always doing that." But no one acts as if they understand this knowledge.

Currently, he has Denmark in the much of Europe/NATO jumping around like trained dogs.

On the heels of the U.S. government's action in Venezuela, which is still underway, he immediately began talking about the U.S. to "taking" Greenland.  So, everyone is imagining that he's going to send blackhawks over there or something. After all, he did rename the Department of Defense, the Department of War.

And even though he's done it hundreds of times in the role of President at this point and has even written, I imagine fairly overrated books about this technique.  People all just dance like marionettes every time.

The political left in the US is too busy gasping and clutching their pearls to do anything to actually stop him and he's taught them to catastrophize every single time so all they can do is come up with the worst case scenario of what hideous thing Trump is going to do to our peaceful Scandinavian neighbors.

In the end, when the deal is done, everyone will be relieved, because it turned out he backed down so much. His enemies might even make fun of him a little and Trump will walk away again with even more than he wanted in the first place.

Or it will be a war with Europe. I don't know.  Does that seem like THAT is really gonna happen to anybody?
