That fat orange gimp and his tariffs ruining Bitcoin once again.

I’m not in the US but if I was I would have voted Republican. Trump has been an unmitigated disaster for Bitcoin though. His ridiculous tariffs and mood swings have really screwed us.

The Bitcoin four year cycle doesn’t care who the President is. This was always going to happen and nothing was going to make it happen any differently.

I sort of agree but he neutered the bull run in 2025 too with tariffs. Was it April or March, I can’t remember.

Meanwhile other store of value assets are up and away. It's disappointing to say the least but I keep thinking that at some point BTC will catch up, in which case we'll be well over 200k. When is the question, hopefully not in a couple years. There is no fundamental reason for a 4 year cycle anymore, the block reward is insignificant, it's psychological only.

He is using tariffs as a weapon now, as when China stopped the export of chip and jet-making material Gallium and Germanium in December 2025, he went after Greenland because of a huge reservoir discovered there recently, and dozens of other reasons.

He doesn't like it when someone else halts dealing with them but he does want to do the same with others. He ain't stopping at Greenland; there will be more to this.

ICE arrests people because of their accent, and to make matters worse, the arresting man has an accent that could also land him in jail when he takes off his uniform. This kind of tyranny is hard to see on the streets of some countries where human rights don't really exist - but those who voted for their peacemaker must be very proud.

In addition, additional customs duties of 10% are being introduced for all European countries that have sent military personnel to Greenland - except Slovenia (thanks Melania Cheesy).

could it have anything to do with the previous administration letting in illegals into like there is no tomorrow and thereby creating a hard to solve problem?

Silver all time high gold all-time high.

That profit will rotate out of them and some has come to BTC

last I looked gold at 4733 an oz and 32.9t cap which is up 15.9t since Jan 2025
silver at 95 an oz and 5.35 cap which is up 3.75t since Jan 2025

that is 19.65t in about 12 or 13 months.

at 10 percent shift to BTC  we go to 1.965+1.82= 3.785 cap over 185k coin

"As to oG Nasty fuck off with your bullshit 4 year cycle belief system.

the world is headed into uncharted territory and you just want to stick what was what is and what always will be bullshit."

if I were trump I would call you a traitor to the plan because you stick to that simplistic 4 plan duh.

Now to switch to another way of think oh fuck maybe og is correct look at hash rate .

Today got some discounted corn stacked and mined some corn and stacked it.

My issue against BTC is the continuing practice and belief in the 4 year cycle .

to me that cycle has to end or btc will fail.

but 20 trillion in metals profits gives me hope that the 4 year is killed off this year.

Appreciate the honesty. Yeah, he did not pay off on Bitcoin very well and now that the US is going to war with.. well, everyone the concept of a global currency is a bit of a mess.

*sigh* When did this shit become the default?

I've always found it extraordinary that we might have a president who is only a couple tweaks away from President Camacho.

They have more in common than apart, I think.

Camacho was quite intelligent and a capable leader.

Remember, he was the prior "smartest man in the world" and was smart enough to understand Joel was smarter and someone that could really fix things.

Gotta give him credit, he saw Joel as an ally and not a threat.
