Both CME gabs filled and more longs liquidated.

Let's see how Trump behaves in Davos. Tongue

2 bullish things this year. New Fed governor and Trump losing influence after he loses the midterms.

Something to look forward too.

Everyone is focused on the US but Europe has become a repressive, corrupt, zero representation cesspit. Normal folk are toast and it's sad to have watched the decline over the years.

In my own part of the world, 60 years is the official retirement age of every civil servant and some funds are deducted from the beginning of your career until you're 60 after which you are meant to start recieving your pension which was saved up. This too reflects bitcoin acculturation and HODLing until you are 60 years old. So it is not late to start spending at 60 because no one knows how soon he will die neither does anyone know how long he would stay. If you leave for 90 years, you spend for 30 years and if you have been actively spending without accumulation for the period of 30 years (let's use this @JJG's illustration using the 42.3BTC as a yardstick). If you spend $200k annually, from the age of 60, you would exhaust the entire stash in little less than 19 years (assuming bitcoin remains at $89k). At this exhaustion, you are only 79 years by then, so have you stayed too old to own a bitcoin? Don't you also wish to leave anything behind for your NOK should you eventually die off before old age?

From og nasty post, the way he wrote, looks like the guy highly overacumulated. He is not something regular guy working until 60s to live off government pension funds.

People who have more wealth could start spending way earlier, to enjoy life while they are still yyoung.even while still working.

oGnasty is likely one of the BTC millionaires on this thread.

Sadly I am only a $100,000 plus from BTC

but hey better than the losers.

Its funny this year I could sell coin (tax wise) and have zero desire to.

Last year in October at 126k there was a tax issue making it stupid to sell.

So I will be stacking and waiting for A) moonshot B) crash C) sideways

all kind of work for me.

the difficult is dropping about 4%. which means my mining will all more corn stacking in a day.

Silver is hanging in there  maybe I can get a few more sales of silver.

The latter is quite common, almost normal, in right-winged people. Does NL still have a rightist government? IIRC... Geert Wilders, i think?

Wilders is extreme LEFT not right, that's just bullshit MSM spouts. Go read his party's program if you don't believe.

Netherlands has very little right but they like calling a lot of left right.

Alright, since you seem erratically counter my viewpoint, i'll have to check what you're saying.
No offense, though.

EDIT: Didn't find many left arguments from Wilders but:
1. Condems Islam, but not Muslims.
2. Advocates for integration and respect of LGBTQ, which is kind of dutch tradition.
3. Wants to include animal rights in the constitution

All other aspects were center/right to far right:
- Leave the EU
- Not supporting Ukraine w. weapons
- "Remigration"
- strict policy on recreational drugs (against dutch tradition)
- stop NL immigration (against dutch tradition)

Looks more like "liberal" Wilders is quite un-integrative. He surely isn't networking much with other right streams of Europe, with the exclution of Hungary (which is kind of a european PITA, receiving billions while trying to foil european politic decision finding).
All in all, the boy is pretty much a right liberal.

@Paashaas, since you're a lot more familiar with the subject than me and also probably know how to identify fake news about PVV, would you give a statement about its political orientation? Thanks  Grin

And then i'd like to keep politics out of the discussion again.

-------------

On topic:
For now, BTC seems to recover, so there are people still buying. What an unusual bull/bear cycle that was. IF cycles still exist.
When will we be able to tell? EOY? Next halving?
Next long liquidity zone is $88k-$86k and it surely is a target for the market.

I will own more BTC at the end of this year than I do now. Will you?

I am not still in my BTC accumulation stage, so I probably won't own more BTC at the end of the year.

Then STFU paper hands.

You are a BTC seller who is going to be selling the bottom of the cycle while criticizing those who sold the top. Your Bitcoin plan is to be a leech who sells BTC every year for the rest of your life while never supporting the market ever again. Keep it real.
I also understand that a person may reach his accumulation target and either reduce his DCA allocation to bitcoin or temporarily stop bitcoin accumulation or then retire to only buying dips because he feels he has achieved his accumulation target even though he is not restrained from changing his mind to accumulate more.

This does not absolutely imply that such investor is actively selling his bitcoin. Not all HODLers are still active in bitcoin buys because it's all personal and even though you are not buying more, at least don't sell.
"I'm not depositing anymore or I'm not at the point of depositing anymore" is a disturbing statement and has created confusion. The idea that an investor will move towards selling his investment after seeing that his investment target has been met is wrong. Rather, it may be that after meeting his target, he will increase his investment with a new goal or become more serious about his investment. I have always found it confusing that he will not deposit anymore, that is, his mind expresses that he has not achieved any success from the market by holding on for a long time, whereas in the past few years, we have seen a lot of changes in the market and those who have been able to hold on for a long time have finally achieved success. So I think it is better for us to avoid such misleading comments.

To a country that has no taxes on cryptocurrencies or minimal taxes. Several countries in the EU have laws according to which no tax is paid if cryptocurrencies are kept for more than 1, 2 or 3 years. Germany, Croatia, and recently the Czech Republic have such laws.

The Cayman Islands reportedly have no tax on anything crypto-related - maybe it's time to move there and enjoy the sun, peace and tax-free profits.

Signs in the heavenlies.

Also not fond of this recent push, I think we just broke support.  I'm thinking we need to jump up pretty quick back to the low 90s or 75 might be in the cards. I hate it, but that's kind of what it looks like.

* makes old man shakes fist at clouds motions and grumbles loudly for good measure *

there, that should do it

Do you must have a camera on me or something? Because I did exactly these things. And having recently grown the first and only full beard I've ever done in my entire life, I am astonished at how old I have gotten just in the last month.

Some of that age increase probably was rooted in watching Bitcoin too closely now and then though.

I like seeing us back over 90 so that this dip has a chance of being more of a bear trap than breaking the trend line.  This head and shoulders pattern hasn't formed a good enough shoulder on the right yet anyway. So once it does that, I guess we get to cross our fingers again. At least I hope this is how it works.
